Rose and Falcon seemed to be friends, so its definetly possible that if Falcon really had such a moral compas, he wouldn´t kill Rose.

I usually can't stand theories that state that Rose is alive, since they always feel like they're written by people in denial. But there's something... different about this theory. Something that feels like something that could actually happen in the EP universe. After all, Jackdaw was able to fake his death with the help of Rose, and maybe this is Rose's "reward" of some sorts for just wanting to do the right thing throughout the story. Edit: This would also give Falcon a personality of his own, rather than just being the same character as Wren. (Personality wise).

Quick add-on theory that I just thought of: So you know how it’s basically confirmed a while back that the killhouse and subsequently the nightmare aren’t real due to the mission date being after the Freelancer’s death, and how this caused a whole bunch of theories about how after the Freelancer and Rose’s deaths they get stuck in this eternal loop of completing the killhouse. Well what if they were right, but just had the wrong context. The killhouse loop is Rose’s dreams after she fakes her death. It explains why she still has dialogue, why the nightmare assault is called a nightmare, and doesn’t leave any gaps that the death loop theory covered (ex: Rose’s line about how it shouldn’t have ended “this way” still makes sense under both theories). Just some food for thought

I know this video is a year old but... one over-looked detail: Remember when Cish said they would NEVER kill Rose? It makes sense there

Ever since the scientist was released , every time i knock/kill falcon i always thought to myself no there's gotta more about him than him just being a normal NPC , i know about his backstory in the steel cove and he is the one who assasinate rose but this even make more sense , now every time i knock/kill falcon i feel really bad for him , i wish cish give us the choice to bring him with us instead of just knock/kill him because who knows maybe bring him with us could change the ending of entry point.

I mean this does make the line in the Nightmare "You just had to get your revenge." line a little more clearer.

This makes the end for EP way more twisted. Freelancer agreed with Jackdaw for revenge for Rose since Rose "died", (Jackdaw was already being manipulative with the Freelancer) but this theory suggests otherwise. The Freelancer died for a reason which wasn't even his at this point, it was Jackdaw who just used him, even if Jackdaw didn't know about Rose being alive, his intentions with using Rose's death are clear.

Pretty great theory for the most part. Definitely fills a bunch of holes and has solid enough foundations to it, although I do think there's one contradiction worth noting: At the bottom of the Scientist's lock code, you get a few lines where Falcon states his ID and tells Halcyon that Rose is dead. Falcon and Rose would've planned all this out in this scenario, scripted what they'd say, yet Falcon (who would know Jackdaw can hear him) lets Jackdaw hear his ID, and in doing so puts a huge target on his back, which just seems careless to me. Like he knows Jackdaw's the kind of guy to hold grudges, yet he carelessly makes Jackdaw think that he killed Rose, and therefore makes Jackdaw come after him. It's not like it was required that he let Jackdaw hear this either. It would've been easy for Falcon to just dispose of the phone, then make the call to Halcyon saying Rose is dead, and Jackdaw never would've known Falcon "killed" Rose. It doesn't sit right with me that Falcon and Rose would've come up with this good a plan, and then stupidly screw it up at the last moment and leave evidence that would make Jackdaw specifically go after Falcon, the person who he believes has killed Rose. With all this, right now I think the assumed story is more likely - that Rose, being chased by Falcon, saves the Freelancer with her last breaths. That being said, I can't deny that a lot of the evidence shown in this video is strong and suggests Falcon helped Rose in some way. I think maybe there's another story here, different from this theory and the previously assumed theory that wouldn't have any contradictions to it. One idea I had is that Falcon does kill Rose for betraying Halcyon, but lets her save the Freelancer, who is about to be executed despite doing nothing wrong, but that's just speculation. There's some more evidence about the contradiction that I've cut for brevity, and if you'd like to talk to me at all about that evidence or anything I've said here, my disc is Captain Midnight#0245. TL;DR If this video is all correct, it wouldn't make any sense in the Scientist lock code for Falcon to say his ID of OC-7 while Rose's phone call to Jackdaw is still active, as this would lead Jackdaw to specifically target Falcon as he believes Falcon has killed Rose.

very good argument! some counterpoints: a) i feel like falcon would HAVE to say his id number for real authenticity, doing otherwise might be suspicious for halcyon ops b) given how halcyon is falcon's last resort, and he felt morally starved enough that he would resort to treason to help somebody, i feel like he would see death as a worthy consequence for this

@@SkiggsMoDiggs a is absolutely true, but i don't think there's any reason that falcon couldn't just dispose of the phone first, then make the call in to Halcyon. b is a fair point, but it's a pretty convoluted way to commit suicide. I know you can't really show or talk about suicide in roblox games, but it's still stretching it a bit.

fuck challenges, I came back now only for the lore. if this was true, this could even give more depth into Sparrow. It’s actually possible that Sparrow also kept Rose identity a secret, after all, sparrow does respect one well wishes. This means that it’s likely that Sparrow could convey the information to Rose where Falcon died, causing the Nightmare Killhouse dream. This could also potentially lead up to why Sparrow didn’t purposefully come at the end of Black Dusk mission where the freelancer could be rescued, she knew this was his mission and if he did survive, he would have escaped. It all sums up now

We also know in the past if anyone remembered, that cish never really *wanted* to kill off rose. This theory has some backbone to it's statements however due to what cish has stated in the past about rose dying and all that. I have a feeling that this MIGHT be a true theory. However, as it's told. It is just a theory after all.

If the Freelancer left Falcon alive but…. In the Scientist, all Halcyon Agents are killed except for Falcon, when Falcon is distracted he is knocked out by the Freelancer and is taken in a body bag and kidnapped by Phoenix. He wakes up in a Phoenix room where Jackdaw, Sparrow, and the Freelancer are. He is interrogated by Phoenix either by the USB or Interrogating him. He is then set up a deal by Jackdaw and Phoenix and leaves Halcyon without the Director knowing. The Director notices how Falcon isn’t awnsering his calls so he he sends a convoy of Halcyon Operatives to check it out and find everyone killed and the director finds out Falcon is missing and there are no trace of his body and remains so Halcyon presumes he is dead and also find out Phoenix has raided there warehouse as it was reported to the Director. Falcon tells Phoenix about the bunker Halcyon got from the CSIS leading to the mission the SCRS never happening. After the intel Falcon gave to the Freelancer, the mission black dusk happens. Falcon accesses the Bunkers programs and fixes the elevator also I forgot to mention that Falcon gave intel to Phoenix about the trap leading to The Freelancers death never happening. Falcon calls the Bunker and gives The freelancer a Special Halcyon uniform giving them access anywhere. They successfully planted the bombs and the a Freelancer left with no trace. Now to the a epilogue, Halcyon is successfully defeated and the a Director is killed by Jackdaw. Falcon goes to a unknown location and meets up with a Rose. It was over, the war was over and Halcyon is disbanded. Rose leaves to go back to Monaco and Falcon, well…. Let’s leave that to imagination. (Just a theory if you left Falcon alive and kidnapped him in The Scientist mission)

I always knew about this, and it made me hate Jackdaw. Just pay attention to details: he was hired to kill the remaining leaders of Halcyon. Most likely most of them assasinate to make it look like accident. But Director had planned it well, so he told him to just murder the remaining for less suspension of Halcyon operatives, analytists, techs and coordinators. But he also said in a file: "I will sleep better after it will be done". Making me think he wanted to make sure no dictatorship would happen in the organization. He afterwards told Wren to kill Jackdaw so he won't snitch it all and make everyone leave the organization. Jackdaw was saved by Rose 🌹. It is also mentioned in files that he was offered peace. A life. But he wanted war. He convinced Rose to become an Informant, costing him to lose her. Jackdaw also convinced Freelancer to betray Halcyon, leading to lose Freelancer too. So is Director a villain? What about Jackdaw? Director didn't reacted to Jackdaw's messages that he is going for revenge. Meaning he basically gave him chance to live in peace... Falcon had experience from escaping orders, and he was also having a huge relationship with Rose and Freelancer. So he wouldn't kill Rose and Freelancer (and not detecting him/her immediately). He faked her death like Rose did to Jackdaw. And how Jackdaw did to Rose. The files tell that she died, but it was faked, so greatly that we fell for it too. What if Freelancer was at last seconds saved by Rose and Falcon, and Falcon was saved and last seconds by Rose? This is my theory, and my thoughts.

When I saw this episode in my recommended, I thought *what a weird character to follow*. It is only now, after seeing your Trust cutscene in a separate video, that I decided to watch this. I think you made your point clear: Falcon is one of the most compelling characters in EP. Also: I hadn't heard of SkiggsMoDiggs in a hot minute. Totally forgot about him.

I've always thought that Falcon was just a soldier who follows orders, but this video gives more character to him.

Falcon Dont Actually have to die. You can just take take him down, make him uncouncious. If this were canon, Falcon would just wake up like any other guards. Edit: At the end of the Black Dusk Halycon get taken down. Falcon might die there or he just join phoenix side.

The code we get to put in "The Lock" that give us the intel file from falcon says that canonically he was killed in the scientist and is deceased

Now I feel unable to shoot falcon in the scientist mission since I feel that it is possible that he could be a potential ally, now I just knock him out

A year and 3 days later after this video premiered, I saw it, I did not know of that possibility until now about Rose.

What does not make sense is that the freelancer can get shot like 1,00 times before he/her die but in black dusk they die instantly from a explosion even though they looked to be in a blast proof elevator with the doors closed

i like to believe that rose, was going to fake her death, but convinced falcon to actually kill her she wanted it all to end, without her, everything could change, she wanted that, she knew halcyon would probably never fall if she didn't die, she probably knew the freelancer would take halcyon down because of her death, and she also wanted to stop everything, so she actually wanted to die

This this makes too much sense. It might actually be true. And that would make the Freelancers death even more sad, he let revenge fuel him and ended up dying(if he actually died) for technically nothing, since his/her motivation was Roses “death”. I yearn for the day I find a code. But I’m too dumb to figure stuff out lol. Didn’t realize there were still codes in EP.

If this friend is rose, then he didn’t have any knowledge she was alive. After all the scheme was to trick both pheonix and halcyon into believing she is dead so she can get out of the game she so hates.

I love the Detroit: Become Human music in the background. For some reason it fits to Entry Point a lot.

Jackdaw specifically said that this is not a secure channel, wouldn’t it be Rose radioing Jackdaw on a channel that isn’t secure?

If that's the case of the "Trust" cutscene, then I think I feel bad when Falcon died in The Scientist mission

I don't think Falcon really died, thanks to one badge in particular... Torching The Forest City, which says:Beat The Scientist on Legend without raising the alarm or killing anyone. This little line about "without killing anyone" might suspect Falcon or any of the Halcyon operatives in The Scientist being alive thanks to The Freelancer just knocking them unconscious, so it would make sense of Falcon to not be dead.

falcon is canonically deceased. i don't recall which one, but a lock file with info on falcon has his status as deceased. if falcon is still alive after the mission, the asset recovery team sent by jackdaw eliminates him

I have a theory (I know it's late but don't care) : Rose faked her death so she could return the Freelancer to Halcyon, so she could finish what she started, destroy Halcyon. The killhouse is actually Rose's nightmare about the Freelancer, and remember what they did togheter. The killhouse nightmare is a nightmare too, but also in Freelancer's afterlife, Rose wanted the Freelancer to destroy the Halcyon, but it ended by the Freelancer's death.

I guess there is more reason why I like Falcon as a character.

That just insane why i didn't ever know this even considering fact that my character is literally falcon for over a year.

What I don't understand about this theory is why this whole hidden dialogue was kept in the lock file of The Concept. It just doesn't make any sense.

Before watching this video I had a different theory. Is it possible that Flacon wanted to defect to Phoenix yet he was afraid of Halcyon finding out and eliminating him?

But if is right, those words from Rose of the killhouse nightmare are more shocking because she sounds like showing indiference to the freelancers dead. However i dont support completly this theory

You need to read the second Black Dusk code to understand why Rose would want out. She literally says it too. And at the end she also betrayed Pheonix by telling Jackdaw Halcyon doesn’t know about the lakehouse. With a dislike for both sides there isnt really any want to stay in the game.

Well maybe the director wanted rose death but rose and falcon was the best friends

Scientist has no cannon outcome with stealth or loud. If you do loud, the TRU or Freelancer would kill Falcon, and if you do stealth and spare Falcon, Phoenix members kill him.

one small problem with this theory. why didn't falcon leave halcyon and join phoenix the same way he originally left steel cove and joined halcyon? maybe its because he hated jackdaw or was connected someway personally to halcyon. its just a minor hole but im sure something can explain it away

I think I disagree, the fact that falcon would shoot us and alert the entire base in the scientist if he saw the freelancer is already proof enough, if he had known that rose made that call it's probably more likely he would try to talk to the freelancer than just shooting

I have a theory. What if Jackdaw, Rose and Falcon are working together this whole time? Maybe the reason why Falcon lacks dialogues is because he was expecting The Freelancer to come, but doesn't know where's he is? I mean like he's giving The Freelancer clues to find the keycard on The Scientist. I don't know...

When you meet Rose, it gives you a badge that says: Road to Revenge. This might be why The Freelancer killed Falcon after Falcon killed Rose.

If this is true, it means that if halcyon doesn't know something, it won't show up in their files, as the files are made by halcyon. This must mean halcyon survived black dusk, since they are able to monitor the FBI investigation and record it in the black dusk file. The destruction of the black dusk bunker isn't significant if halcyon have onyx files elsewhere. Plus, halcyon operative could easily evacuate, considering the plan for the attack call for the bombs to be in the vent, OR be near the elevator, only one of the locations, not both. Halcyon could use the vent if freelancer succeeds, or the elevator, if freelancer fails. Either way, the freelancer would be killed, while halcyon survives. "But the lock file say halcyon is gone" no, the lock file says halcyon know government THINKS they are gone. Exactly what halcyon wanted. TL;DR, if lock file readable, halcyon knows, halcyon take minimal damage in BD and destroys phoenix by altering their plans so halcyon able to know the gov think they gone, then they go stealth.

Well falcon isnt dead, If u complete the scientist and you nock out all the guards, technically you also nock out Falcon and he doesnt die

what if, hear me out the freelancer didn't die, due to the blast door not being shown it may be closed also due to the April fools cutscene also telling that in the dialouge if an blast door cant take blasts, then it ain't a blastdoor

it's actually wide open tho, the blast door is opened due to halcyon noticing the bombs and activating the lockdown protocol.

@@ramyadalwasif2527 Same thing, the blast door couldn't be closed because Halcyon noticing the bombs in the first place and activating the protocol

@@ramyadalwasif2527 When Black Dusk ends, Halcyon noticed the bombs that were planted, Halcyon then activates the lockdown protocol. To prevent the player from leaving, Halcyon disabled the elevator and made the blast door wide open.

Normally I would try to prove you wrong... but there is nothing. Nothing to prove you wrong. Maybe rose is alive.
