I have 25 pairs of Vans. Some from Vans stores, some from their website. Every pair the red Vans tag is almost worn off, especially the center. Most of mine are printed with some design or another. Some are solid. Also, I'd like to say that if you talked people would understand the differences better.

Between my two teens, we have had so many Vans shoes in our house, and they may as well be fake, because for the price of them, they are garbage! They fall apart so easily. Btw, that red tab on the heel wearing off is not really an indication of anything, other than a shoe that has likely been worn. That starts to happen on all of my school son’s shoes after only a few wears, and yes, he bought all of his at an actual Van’s store.

I don’t know about the laces. I’ve just recently bought a white pair of Eras with the tropical inner and it came with the short laces. I don’t know if that’s just those ones or not, but yeah. That’s what I got. I did get them at the Vans store.

Thought mine were fake bc of it and the thumbnail xd i didn't spend $150 for a pair of fakes lol😂 even tho it fades it kinda just ruins the whole point of having the logo at the back of the shoe smh. Most ppls new pair of vans fades in just a couple of days of using them🙄 they need to fix this problem.

See if the box closes correctly. Even the boxes on Vans shoes are well made. There should be a locking mechanism. A tab on the top of the box will be inserted on the inside of the box, holding it closed. Cheap imitations often have no locking mechanism. The top will drape over the bottom of the box, with nothing holding it in place.

the fake one is at least 5 times cheaper, so i'll go with that. the fabrication cost of both of them probably are the same or differs by a minimal diference. I understand that the real one have much better materials and assurance of quality, but if it's just to fit in some social groups, it doesn't matter. Can anyone give me a list of reasons to buy Vans sneakers other than the ones I already mentioned?

It Is possible that the Fake one was made in México and the real at USA ? Here in my city Juárez,México all Vans that you can find at department Store ,are made in central América .I think those Vans are made under some license,but not made at USA.

ryanthomas8955 if you’re using the shoes to skate they are supposed to be constructed in that vulcanized fashion so that u can feel the board, the wheels, the skating surface. I wear them because i like them (got certain ones for the designs) and put inserts in them for comfort :):

Esos 2 tenis son originales, ese video es una basura, el vans se identifica en la perfección de la costura las iniciales en la suela. Solo que en el video uno es ensamblado en China por que la mano de obra es más económica, pero los 2 son originales.
