I just went on Amazon and they’re still selling this P.O.S., and the dead giveaway is that they only show 1 photo of the helmet and 1 photo of the size chart! Thats Sweet. I have picked up one yesterday and gonna use with my RSV4. I hope as you said, I wdnt need ear plugs as I do on Pista GP RRs, as they have minimal noise filter.

Most of the fake Shoei designs that are sold online are straight copies from Shin-Abe and Dave designs. Shoei doesn't sell those except if that's a collaboration design.

About the fake helmet. I living in China and the thing is the one that u have are shit because they just give u a "shoei skin helmet" But in China, it's possible to have some kind of "quality fake" Like the seller gonna give u 4 ranges of price from 400 RMB to 2500 RMB, the 2500 RMB, they use carbon fiber for make it, the 400 RMB, it's just a "paint helmet" But for get these kind of carbon helmet, u need to be in China i think, in aliexpress, i think they sell shit fake

Yes, the helmets you buy on aliexpress are really basic quality. It really is a helmet with paint, nothing more, nothing less. As I said, there are several prices, ranging from $40 to $250 or even more, and when you really go for the top of the range, even if it's a replica, it's still well made, because for the higher prices, they use carbon fiber, for example. But that's when you're in China, when you know the "seller" directly, etc. etc. On Aliexpress, for example, I wouldn't trust them because I'm sure they inflate the prices to screw foreigners + that's what they produce at $35/$40 at home in China. It's like those who buy a Louis Vuitton bag, if you take the crap bag at $10, you're bound to get crap, but when you see replicas at $800, it's almost at the same level as the real thing because they have immense know-how. Because from you to me, I don't really know if the 1000€ on a Shoei for example, if it's really "justified", I want to believe that it doesn't cost 50$ to produce but 1000, not sure either :') @@LifeOfLoz_
