Nice kind of an acid /bleached denim look

I have the same truck and the exact same color and I am doing the same thing to it. Lmao. This is great! My truck was white then they painted it orange and then that blue color. It is going to be a great color combination to sand through. Thanks for the inspiration!

Nice! I think we both got lucky on the color combo! Adding patina is much easier then repainting the truck!

That body is not bad at all I'm building a 66 ford pickup in much worse shape and did a 45 dodge pickup last year was all in peaces full of rust ,it's a show stopper now.

Just looks like you started sanding and didn't finish,, l don't go for the patina look l hate rust it never sleeps.

Is that a 1966 with a 1964 grille?

Yep! Not sure what the full story on this truck is but It has the wrong front end and a bed from a different truck. Part of the reason I didn’t mind hacking it up a bit.

@@Petrol360 sometimes it’s a lot more fun to just leave them as is. Truthfully I didn’t much care for the patina look when it became popular but after awhile I actually started liking it. It allows a person that may not have a lot of money to spend to have a car hobby. They actually look good if done properly.

My man, please do not sweat small things like audio etc. Your video is great and presentation and content in general is great. That said. Now this is just a personal preference... but i HATE this new fad of "petina" lol. I know it's just me and it does not discount all your hard work and effort put into it.

Thanks man! I was definitely a bit frustrated with the audio myself. I know the patina isn’t for everyone and im sure it will end up being a trendy fad but for this truck its a better option then paint and body work. The body is really rough with lots of rust. The next episode I will dive into some rust repair!
