i've been listening to this song for literally years, though i think my favorite of your songs is Reason of Birth. i used to listen to that on repeat for like several months when i was younger. it's one of my top favorite vocaloid songs and definitely one of my top 5 favorite Luka songs

@@XFTFX I know she said it was up to interpretation, but I think it's pretty safe to say that you were right at your first guess. Maybe the lyrics alone wouldn't be enough, although they express sadness and how the same person had two different personalities, one of them being "dark"; but the ilustrations are pretty clear. I know a little of japanese so the song says she's feeling pain remembering "happier times", she says her feeling don't and won't change, besides how he did change, and at the end when she says "貴方の痛み少しでも癒されるなら この肢体を赤く染上げて", she's pretty much telling him he can continue "torturing" her if his pain lessens a little bit, it's not really a "I´m letting you do this because I like it". The guy might be kind into BDSM, but he's actually hurting her not to have some kind of erotic pleasure as a couple, but actually in a mean way. Sorry as well for any spelling or grammar mistakes, not a native speaker either.

@@elisapavez2625 well I know veeery little Japanese but some words kinda gave me some "signals" yeah I thought it's exactly like what you've said. Nevertheless, this is Vocaloid, nothing so surprising when I hear something like "Blue Ice Castle" when I was like 11 maybe. What's so unsettling is, cases like this depicted on the song (assuming our interpretations are accurate) are happening in real life, especially in my country, it's not uncommon to hear ruined families due to domestic abuses, sexual or not, the wife never thought her husband will turn out abusive because he never showed his dark traits before marriage, some of the wives end up like Luka, just "gave up" to the torture because they don't want to ruin their children's life, and/or they still love their husbands. While cases of psychotic girls planting hand of their best pals, making a "hand garden" because "the world is filled with bullshit" seems to be very rare. Sometimes I pray to God that I shall not end up as an abusive husband, I think seeing myself being the very thing I used to hate would be one of my worst nightmares.

The song's message is realistic. Women aren't meant to live like this. It does things to you.
