hey. i discovered one thing recently. was looking for an amouage. as i do buy a lot of luxury parfums, i tend to search for the offers. however, i found out amouage's being sold by certified shops (Douglas, Sephora) for a standard 300 USD/EUR in Europe and at online discounters accredited for a ranged price from 130 up to 200 USD/EUR. Online discounters reassure that they buy from Amouage or approved suppliers and the product is suitable for EU. First of all, what is suitable in this case? Does it mean they do parallel importing? And from your experience, can you trust online discounters in the sense of an identical product as you would buy from a brick and mortar certified re-seller of Amouage? The price differs across online discounters and oflline shops. The reason I'm asking, I have had already less pleasant experience with Notino when they had delivered Terre Hermes that was obviously watered down and did not had the same performance.

Hi I have a question someone wants to gift me a full bottle of Interlude woman 50ml when i buy her Xerjoff Alexandria - Oud Stars ii. I asked for pictures she did. The bottle of interlude woman is full she said, she doesn’t like it that’s why she wants to gift me that only when I buy her Oud stars ii for 250€ after I asked her why she doesn’t sell this also.. anyways I asked for the bill of Oud Stars ii and she showed me the real bill that she paid it. I bought a bottle of Amouage Epic Man 100ml, it has the seal and everything else is fine apart from it says "Oman Parumary LLC" instead of "Oman Perfumery" printed in black letters on the back under the gold rim. Any ideas?

Nice video, thanks so much. I wish that you had shown the bottom of the bottle however. Everything about the bottle I recently purchased suggests that it is genuine, but I was surprised at the lack of ANY sort of label on the bottom of the bottle itself: no label or imprint in the glass...nothing. Is this typical for Amouage products? Thanks again for everything you do.

@@namzarf Thats because Amouage bottles dont have stickers there! Only numbers. Which are hard to see without putting a bottle against light. These numbers should match the ones on the bottom part of the box.

How Much Hours amouage interlude sillage And projection

The batch code on my Reflection Man are off by one number from the box to the bottle. The bottle ends in 94 and the box ends in 95. Any reason for this?

I do not know if Amouage does batches by 1 offset. If you bought it from authorised retailer you should not worry because of that.

Łukasz S similar and long lasting. I used the fake two more times after the video, one hand the fake and the other hand the authentic, the fake performs without a doubt almost as long as the authentic. In the first hour it is actually stronger than the authentic. I do not use it because of it's composition, since fakes don't have any health aproval legislation applied, I stay away from them. The reason for my videos is to make the community aware of the fakes and not be fooled buying them.

The box is a dead giveaway but these fakes are getting better and better. Krazy. 😂😂😂

Kologne I've seen Amouage fakes with the same box (open cap type from the bottom) as the authentics, so it is a good thing to watch for more clues, not only one.

*I bought one of these fake "Amauage" Interlude Man tester bottles from a Russian seller off Ebay. Didn`t cost me much. But, i have to say that the fragrance was so identical to the original and the longevity was over 24hrs on my skin!!! Insane! So i was pleasantly surprised. I even got a couple of compliments wearing it.*

@@badhabitz69 Ouch $65 for a fake. If someone reads this comment by chance try Shaghaf Oud Abyad by Swiss Arabian, it is 20-30 $. I prefer Abyad over interlude, I love their take on the dry oregano/incense combo (less longevity though).

You can't please everyone, all the time, Fragrance Tattoo. Just because some people have very little time (or the attention span of a gnat!) and don't mind telling you so, doesn't mean everyone feels the same way. I would say, make your videos as long as you feel they need to be and (in the case of the over 10 mins ones) if a few people can't, or won't, devote a few extra minutes to them, that is not your fault.

I can not know if it real or authentic only based on a sticker. Check the overall quality you have on your fragrance, also it is important to know if you bought it from authorised retailer.

I would be dead by then. I wash my hand after every video, I do not want any skin deseases. Fakes contain chemical compounds that are harmful to anyone (skin deseases, respiratory complications, maybe cancer, etc). The purpose of the videos is to raise awarness of fakes existance and not use fakes.

Does amouage has a batch code? I didnt see it!

Yes, it does. It is printed with black ink at the bottom of the bottle, you can see it only if you shine light on it at a certain angle.

I bought a tester of Reflection Man that has yet to arrive. It doesn't come with a cap and the atomizer is much different because it doesn't have the collar at the bottom. Plus the Amouage label is not as shiny and the logo is not straight with the amouage star

Jastin A. You got yourself a fake my friend. Report the seller to authorities and to Amouage also. Nothing good will come out of it, fakes don't follow health care legislation. They can mess your respiratory system or it might "gift" you a skin desease.

Send the fake back, buy a decant of an authentic or a full one, from what I noticed now Amouage are cheaper, you can get a discount from a retailer in your area for $110 or $120. It is totally worth to buy the real deal.

I'm off on holiday in 3 weeks to zante so i thought I'd treat myself to a bottle priced at £170 instead of spending my money on duty-free perfume. Hopefully I'll enjoy this scent as much as the holiday 👍

@@islamfouad2619 but the color of the juice itself can vary between different batches aswell. If you have 2 decants you‘re best of comparing it with yet another decant just to see because decants arent that expensive anyway.

Don't use any fake. They don't follow any Healthcare Legislation. Fakes contain cancerogenic compounds, even if you don't spray on skin they will still get into your respiratory system. And all that for 145 Aed.

A Saeed the cap is not important. Take a close look at the bottle and the color of the glas and the atomizer.

Ik that amouge makes bottles in the UK as well so does that mean if you buy a legit bottle from the UK the bottle shouldn’t have “made in Oman” at the bottom right?

There are "made in uk" and also "made in oman" bottles. I can not remember exactly but the "made in uk" bottles started from 2013. The "made in oman" bottles are made since the beginning of the brand, that is their home place.

@@martingarcia2265 The batches are kind of weird with Amouage. You can barely see batch on the box, there are legit both, sometimes they have the long 13 digits batch code printed but sometimes they have a 5 digit batch carved.

No it's a tester not a fake. It comes like this so it'll not be sold. I have a tester and a genuine one, they both smell the same. In the bottle it's clearly mentioned not for sale and tester. That's it This perfume is hard to duplicate, make sure of that

I know what I'm doing. The fake I presented is sold as a tester but a fake will always be a fake. Selling fakes as "testers" is done frequently because this way it's easier to justify faults in the product. Fakes are fakes !

Most of the time, testers won’t have the original cap. The text being different is a dead giveaway, though.

Should be on the box and on the bottom of the bottle. On my Interlude you must shine a light at the bottom because the ink or laser at the bottom only shows itself with a light.

Michael Jerro Different batches may have different esthetics. If the quality of your Amouage is right than you don't need to worry. I don't know if the seller was authorised but you can check authentic Amouage in your local area to confront yours with the authentic. And another thing, if your box has quality and good weight to it than it means it is all ok! Thanks and enjoy!

I do not know what techniques they use to copy the authentics but the fakes do contain dangerous chemicals.

Now go take a shower or scrub the areas where you sprayed the real and the fake with hot, soapy water. You'll still be able to smell the Amouage afterwards... and maybe days later. I love the women's Dia. Was so sad when I used up all of my bottle I purchased in Muscat.

Search Resistance There is no fake Interlude that has no "Tester" written on it. If they write "tester" on the fakr it os easier for them to sell it. As a general rule, people accept more flaws in testers than in an authentic, so this is why they put the word "tester" on the fakes.

You are comparing it with a tester so there is a big difference in the looks

khalid Almaazmi I did see a fake that had the box looking like the authentics. It was Epic Man. The Interlude fake is the only one I found, I bought it for the video. Lots of fakes are sold as "testers" because it is easier to justify misfits this way.

Can't speak for Amouage testers, specifically; but, normally, the testers come in an identical bottle, just without a box (normally) and cap (nearly always). The bottle itself doesn't generally differ from the retail product, because it needs to look the same when it is placed on a retail counter, for people to use. It would look pretty odd if the tester bottles looked different from the bottles shown in the promotion photos, on the displays behind them, wouldn't it? You also have to remember that, in the case of fragrances, people are often judging the bottle as much as the fragrance. So, a cheap tester bottle would discourage sales.

Did you see the interview with the Amouage CEO? I called bullshit because what you are displaying is clearly fake but the discounted Amouage fragrances are authentic without a doubt. I believe he doesn’t want heat from the wealthy aristocratic sheiks in the UAE or oil tycoons wearing Amouage from retail and realizing they are getting the shaft because the fragrance is less than half price at discount sites.

A lot of fakes come in "tester" form. This way it's easier to justify faults in the quality. A fake will always be fake, regardless of the form it comes in.

A lot of fakes are almost an identical clone to the real thing except they are diluted. what they are diluted with is the issue.

Believe or not it's really not that hard or expensive ( in most case's) to clone designer perfumes. I know this because Im married to a nose,(perfumer) who works in the industry. As far as crooks go, alot of these companies are just as crooked if not worse than the people selling clones of their product.

This is a very poor fake. I mean even the "Amauage" spelling is incredible. usually, Fakes are MUCH better than this. One thing: why do you link to amazon "to buy the authentic one"...I think it's a common fact that you should not shop fragrances on Amazon, as there have always been soo many counterfeits on there.

First Amazon offers you money back guarantee. Second : check the Amouage sellers on Amazon, should be no problem ordering from them: one is actually Amouage themselves and the other is Luxury Beauty. I doubt you will buy fakes from Amazon.

Bro it may not come with a cap u are correct but the design, logo, bottle tint, text color/style, font boldness, packaging (unless coming in plain tstr box) would all be IDENTICAL!!.. Its fake hahahah. Call the company and ask if they send their testers in open top boxes with half the artwork displayed n no cellophane or hologram sticker hahaha I bet they say no.
