But you can't always tell real from fake just by the box. The MFK boxes change and are not always the same for each released prints. Also, now the newer perfumes have a QR code but it only started recently so if you have an older perfume, it won't show a QR code. It's mainly in the smell you can tell the difference, and the Chinese fakes are awful.
@@mmxxivi102 Manufacturers change aesthetics with time. If a fragrance gets faked, the manufacturers decide to change the box or even the bottle. There are many counterfeiters, some do a better job than the others. Some fakes come close to the authentics. If someone buys a fake thinking they get the same as the authentics must be stupid. Fakes will always be fakes.

I have a seller that tells me his Batch is from 2014… Than i Checked the barcode and it says 2024 (but to be fair on the barcode website it says ‚every 10 Years the Batchcodes are getting repeated). So i checked your video right now. The issue here is that the sellers box from 2014 has not the golden Writing like in your video. What can I do now? Also the Formula is at the bottom.
@@FP089 Dior new batches I think no longer have the batch made from 4 characters. From what I remember they have a fifth character now. Please check this on any new Dior fragrance at your local fragrance shops to confirm what I'm saying. I hope this can clear things up.

@@TommyVercetti0 Every fragrance changes aesthetics in time. I have the first batch. If a fragrance gets reformulated it will have some differences when it comes to the text with the ingredients and even text displayment on the front part, maybe even the name is written in another way.

@@smiley7672 I can not know only based on the nozzle. There are many counterfeiters, each of them has different components they use. If you bought it from a reliable seller, you should not worry, reputable sellers always sell authentics.

What you must do is report the seller to EBay and your local police department. They will start a file here and send it to police from the place from where the fake was shipped from.

No. A lot of fakes are sold as "testers". This way they can explain faults in quality. Where would all the testers come from ? There are more testers than actual fragrances, watch out for these "tester" scams.

I can not know if you have a fake or not. Of the pharmacy is well known it should not sell fakes. Take into consideration that fragrances go through aesthetic changes with time, so letters could be printed in other ways than the way the fragrance initially came out when it was launched. Profumo is no longer manufactured, it has been discontinued from what I know.

The cap ia 116gr. The bottle alone is 221gr, without the cap. This is the 75ml size bottle. I did use from the juice inside, I don't know how much exactly. I can not see through the bottle even if I shine a light from behind.

If you have doubts just send it back. If you bought it from a trusted source it is authentic. Aesthetics change with time but that does not mean a fragrance is fake.
You only need to check if it's 100ml to know it is fake because Profumo was only released in 40, 75, 125, 180ml formats.

Sorry to tell you guys but BOTH of these bottles are FAKE, on that “real” bottle the ingredients are wrong, the fire symbol is also wrong. For anyone who actually owns this legitimate fragrance and still has the box like me, go and check the ingredients for yourselves, also note on the legit one the fire is NOT surrounded by a box. You can verify this with Tom Ford too. This is a very good looking copy though and sadly you were fooled sir, either that or you knew… Don’t get sucked in people!

Batches represent the same production date. In a month you will have the same batch on many many bottles.
