Fake Firefighters on Facebook Trying to Make Money
The Firefighter cringe is real here ladies and gentlemen. If you're going to fake being a firefighter, at least attempt to make it believable.

As someone who has a fireplace in his house and thus chops wood every year for the winter: what a pathetic use of an axe.

And, even if the door was locked and you didn't have access to a butter knife or credit card, there's now a hole in the door from which you can reach the lock....

“Don’t touch the door” wouldn’t want to burn yourself from the fire that appears to be in the room you’re in.

I'm no fire fighter. Never in my life had to break through a barrier to save someone's life... But as a construction worker I can promise, any man who's even remotely familiar with tools can demolish an interior door. 😂 In fact, if a door was somehow that tough, the wall next to it literally can't be.

Hmm yes, I see. They spend a minute making a hole in the door so they can then spend 10 seconds actually kicking it open. Primo technique
@Belphegorite
As a former first responder, I can confirm we had access to butter knives and gift cards. Also, never met a firefighter who didn't have enough mass (muscle, beer or both) to simply Kool-Aid Man right through an interior door if they really had to. Oh Yeah!

I've literally seen children accidentally put holes in those doors.

Not to mention the fact that they are making a hole in the middle of the door when something such as a hinge and doorknob exists.

I love how he has time to count to three to kick the door down and ask his buddy "bracing" him if he's ready, as if every second during a fire doesn't matter.

Fun fact: Jack Nicholson was a volunteer firefighter for a while, so the only problem they had while filming the now famous "Here's Johnny" scene was that he tore the breakaway door down too fast

I'm pretty sure a determined chihuahua could've made a hole in that door faster than them

I used to do home improvements. I put my fist through one of those doors when we were doing some demo work. Then my friend who was 6'4, 320lbs just literally walked through it. We worked for his dad and he was standing there with a crowbar ready to take the moulding off. He just said "Well, that's one way to do it." It was probably one of the funniest moments we ever had working together.

I love that he put a hole in the middle of the door and still kicked it open.

Also it wasn't mentioned, but chopping a hole into the middle of the door is pretty much the most inefficient way you could possibly do it. You'd want to focus on the knob itself if you were trying to get the door open (since the knob is the only thing keeping it locked), or on the hinges if your plan was to remove it entirely.

As a former 5 yr old pretending to be a FF…I relate to this “totally real” saving of people trapped behind a cardboard door!

Man, this makes my blood boil. If they honestly make that video thinking that they are like firefighters, we have a terrible future ahead of us.

I like how they slapped the door with the axe instead of using the sharp side.
