In the USA, all license plates are issued directly by the various state governments. I was really surprised to discover when I first visited Britain in 1976 that you got plates from individual private stores. I wondered why people didn't get fake plates all the time.

cause in the UK if you get a number plate you are supposed to produce your car registration document . that's why you should only be able to get them made by a company that is registered with the DVLA. In Denmark number plates are only issued at the tax office.

Is there any cases after a separation women/ex-wife actually pay for the man/ex-husband? All I hear is women getting the children and plus money in almost all divorce cases. I think that is very intriguing. I thought women have EQUAL rights in the Western world, not extra privileges.

Yes, they expect to be paid the same as men yet (based on 30 years of experience of working in environments with women) they spend 30% of the time gas bagging and not getting anything done. Several jobs I had required some lifting, none of the women would do the lifting, all the men did the heavy work.

I refused as I don't have to and she said "so you're going to make a woman do it?" Why would she order 1ton of dog food through a kerbside delivery service and not expect to have to move the stuff?

Yes go to a manufacturers main dealer and pay 100's for a genuine airbag. Granted you can't put a price on safety, but if dealers didn't charge so much money for them, people wouldn't be tempted by cheaper parts just to pass MOT's
@SteveBlues87

+Buano Taquito I never said that. What I said was that cheaper alternatives will appeal more to people if they can't afford a genuine airbag, but don't know the consequences of cheap air bags. I think more people would choose OEM if the prices weren't as high as they are. I get that they're not cheap to manufacturer, but when you consider how important airbags are to saving lives, I believe that encouraging people to replace with OEM should be more important than the profit made on selling them

First time to watch this show and loved it! It make me wonder why the countries that ignore Intellectual property, Trademarks, and product registrations invalid and support the Fake market as a legitimate business and source of income to their economy. For example. A large Asian company not only does fails to enforce counterfeit laws, the finace free, or dramatically discounted shipping cost to target nations. So they are responsible by collaboration. So all countries have to screen a large percentage of their imports creating expenses such as inspectors and storage of the counterfeit goods. Why not hold that country of origin responsible for those expenses with fines and cost to return them to the country of origin and make them pay the disposal cost? Should they not pay their fines, stop all imports from off loading until their fines are paid. Too Simple? As it is they are not controlling their exports ( No expense) When Caught the get free storage (no expense) and destroy the local market yet still grow their economy (high expense for the target market) So they can dump waste material all over the world with no penalties, Steal economic markets with fake goods, continue to invest in higher quality fakes that are harming our people and home businesses, yet can depend on their country to protect the criminals and free services like shipping, storage and disposal for the fakes that are detected. So in summary, they are facilitating economic theft, involved in the distribution, benefiting from the income. It is time to fine them and stop the unloading of all their "goods"until the fines are paid and charging storage fees for counterfit goods while returning ships return the garbage to their country of origin for environmentally responsible disposal.after being rendered unmarketable for resale. This can be done by any country with laws and their economy will grow again. No laws towards any individual country, All of the counterfeiting countries will be held accountable for their intentional failures to respect other countries economy, and their support of organized crime.

I've always considered airbags to be a mixed blessing. Pull your seat belt up tight, and this stops you flying forward. I've had several collisions while rally driving and the belt (especially full harness) works the magic. Also, the airbag compromises you controlling the vehicle as the impact develops.

Gummy Bear Such an easy answer, simple for a very naive person. #1-Those who copy haven't spend a penny to research, buy a paten,t employ engineers to create the products. #2-Copies use poor quality parts, they can't use quality parts and still undercut the real thing. #3- copycats have no liability insurance, no patents, employ no sales people or attorneys saving huge amounts of money. #4-, The knockoffs are made in plants that meet NO environmental standards, they don't care for their employees, nor do they hire well qualified people, they hire anyone who wants a job so badly they will work for very little. Do you really think that the buyer gets a good deal by buying knockoffs that are cheaper but of terrible quality?

@ukpropaganda

electricsilver No, they DON'T work for us, the people. The police serve the government, banks and corporations, that is why they always turn out in numbers for protests, yet cannot spare anyone if your house is being burgled. They have dedicated teams of cops for nothing other than fake goods, etc. WHY would that be? If I bought a fake CD for £1 it is because I KNOW it is fake and I only want to pay a quid, not because I can't recognise a fake product.

Unfortunately, I agree with you. It IS whoever pays the most, gets the protection. My council tax bill shows a breakdown of the services I pay for; fire, police etc., yet as you say, the companies pay more therefore get to chooses the rules. So to update my original post. I did NOT pay Volvo the £55 they requested for a trailer plate. I paid £8 on eBay. Should I expect a knock at the door?

Apart from some quasi government department telling us it is "illegal" to make a flat yellow plate and print MY details at MY request upon it: what law has actually been broken? These "laws" are put in place to keep the corporate fat cats rich. You need to understand WHY these laws are implemented in the first place. Not simply bow-down because they say so. I think it is YOU that needs a few lessons on the concepts of law, morality and ethics. I'm sure if this goes on long enough, Godwin's Law can be invoked (look it up - councillor.)
@electricsilver
7 жыл бұрын
Oh dear - you've gone off topic. The example you gave could happen regardless of it being legal OR illegal. I'm talking about MY right to purchase a plate for MY car. AGAIN, where is the crime? except in the eyes of the quasi dvla, who lobbied for this to be a "crime" to line their pockets even further. And yes, I would cry for "injustice in a heartbeat" because THAT would be a "crime". THAT is what I pay for in my taxes. Twice now, you've made reference to the fact that the richer you are, the more "right's" you have. It's quite shameful, that the majority can't be afforded any justice because individually they pay less tax, but on a percentage of their salaries, probably pay a damn sight more. I'm bored now - and you're "blocked". Let's just say I won that argument hands down. 😂

Interesting how the woman always gets custody and the man is left paying. She gets the gold mine and he gets the shaft, and the government condones it. Hell, here in the US, a woman could be sitting on the courthouse steps doing crack and she'd get custody.
My ex got a judgement for me to pay 12k a month in child support. She uses most of it to sustain her own expensive lifestyle. Wish I could have had the guts to show less income, and the judge did not care about the money going mostly to her.

I can see the airbags and possibly the wheels being a problem, the pills too... but if the DVDs and Golf Clubs are low enough priced and function, boo hoo multi million dollar companies miss out of a few sales and someone who can't afford it gets something that functions probably fairly well. A few years back, I ended up with a counterfeit DVD for some B-Grade 80s movie from an Amazon seller (they got taken down shortly after, and I was refunded my 2 bucks + shipping fees) and didn't even realize it was fake even when I went and hunted down the real, actual DVD. There were no differences, other than the price. I saved 18 bucks (25 after I got refunded so in the end I got paid to watch the movie as the legitimate DVD was 20 bucks), the third party made a couple bucks in pocket change (obviously until they got busted), win-win situation.

They want everything to be registered and licienced etc etc so they can police you and tax you.

Interesting that in the UK private companies make the number plates (license plates here in the US), here in the US the plates are supplied by each individual state, and we get them from the DMV (department of motor vehicles) in the county you live in. Of course that doesn't really stop anyone from making fake plates, or more commonly here, someone ,might steal your plates before committing a crime.

If they're charging £10-£20 a plate and making thousands a week for a small man operation, why do the larger companies need to charge £50 odd? I bought a motorcycle with a number plate made at the garage and the ink ran and it fell to bits in days of rain. I ordered one online for £8. It's well made, clean and has lasted 8 months, still looking new. And that site was taken down for not being legit. :-/

It's funny how they try to make printing number plates as faking them but all I see is a plate printed operation that doesn't do their due diligence in checking if the customer owns that plate number. Using a few decals with car brand logos although dodgy is ultimately harmless and just a technicality they used.

I like this series, thanks for the uploads.

Apart from some quasi government department telling us it is "illegal" to make a flat yellow plate and print MY details at MY request upon it: what law has actually been broken? These "laws" are put in place to keep the corporate fat cats rich. You need to understand WHY these laws are implemented in the first place. Not simply bow-down because they say so. I think it is YOU that needs a few lessons on the concepts of law, morality and ethics. I'm sure if this goes on long enough, Godwin's Law can be invoked (look it up - councillor.)
@electricsilver

I feel like these criminals got the idea from the sopranos 😂
My question is why does the UK Government Sub-Contract the making of License Plates to private companies? In America that is done by the government.

Interesting how the woman always gets custody and the man is left paying. She gets the gold mine and he gets the shaft, and the government condones it. Hell, here in the US, a woman could be sitting on the courthouse steps doing crack and she'd get custody.

From this video there is one conclussion: You can manufacture and distribute those conterfeit parts because in UK nobody bother to chase, capture and to get you to court. You will definitely avoid the responsibility for spreading those fake parts and nothing will happen to you. There is also question for having remorses if something bad happen to whoever bnought them but.... I never met anyone in UK who has a remorses for deliberate acts to gain profits and instaed, people are brilliant in producting excuses.

EXACTLY - the only counterifiets I dislike are ones that threaten peoples saftey.... things like the ones you mentioned But the main reason they are so worried about this is becuase they arent getting their hands on the money. Ya really think their concern is our saftey?!!! lol. We arent getting to tax you, so we dont like it.... thats what it boils down to. They want everything to be registered and licienced etc etc so they can police you and tax you.
Interesting that in the UK private companies make the number plates (license plates here in the US), here in the US the plates are supplied by each individual state, and we get them from the DMV (department of motor vehicles) in the county you live in. Of course that doesn't really stop anyone from making fake plates, or more commonly here, someone ,might steal your plates before committing a crime.
nobody in their right mind would produce fake airbags as they could not enter the market on new cars. the airbags on the internet are from dismantled cars that are perfectly fine and original, trouble is that these airbags are a fraction of the stealership price

Ironic that genuine Honda airbags were shown to be dangerous!
Numbrer plates should be pressed not printed as they are in many countries.
Surely the companies doing this on a bigger scale receive lower overheads per item than a guy in his garage.
