This video is wonderful and you are a gem! I'm so excited to learn about Red Devil spackling. I have been using DAP for 2 years now and hated that it is gray. Adding white paint for whip cream can be a challenge to get the right consistency. THANK YOU! I just ordered it from Amazon so now I can finish about 6 milkshakes that are patiently waiting for whip cream.

I use a snow white lightweight spackling compound from Menards it comes in a square white bucket in a small and large size, it is perfect for doing fake treats

After a couple of months of watching videos and seeing people’s creations in FB groups, I finally for the nerve to make my first fake bakes this week…. Some mug toppers. I thought they would be an easy way to get started. I found this video extremely helpful, especially with your recommendations on where to get the pure white spackle, how to make nuts, your fav icing tips, the basic supplies to get when first starting out, and your comments about protecting your plumbing. I actually washed everything from my mug topper making day in my sink, so I will try not to do that again! Thanks for potentially saving my plumbing!

You do amazing work! I just wanted to let you know if you use the model magic in the plastic candy molds, you can freeze them then they will pop right out then let them dry. I made Christmas candy once and that worked for me.
