I am an American. When I was young in 1970,I was 26, I had a girlfriend in Ponglo Baleg Mangatarem. We went to a wedding party in a nearbyby barrio. after when we back at house, you could hear this music coming thru the coconut trees. It was so peaceful and I will never forget lying in the bed listening to this song. She is gone now and I;m in my 70's but I will never forget this music. God bless her and the Philippines.

That is very romantic, Mr. Lawrence....is that in Ilocos? that music was usually played in the provinces at various occasions, usually at parties...I remember this when I was still so young.....played over the radio....I too am in my 70's too... How do you know she is gone now....she might still be alive...I suppose you have gotten married and have several grandchildren now...

this music always made me cry but I love to listening. my father he love to play guitar this instrumental he always remind this music on his wedding day with my mother they dance and all the visitors attached the money on their clothes while they were both dancing. ..now they both gone but it's make a memory a love memory for me.

i listened to this song million times and still listening..i live in the US and I miss pinas much...

im married to a philippina since 30 years and when we go back there its a big party with family and friends,when we have to come back to belgium my hart cries and is full with pain i love philippines

I lived in USA and hear this intrumental music so beatifully done by Mr Manelili, I thought at first, it is hawaiian music but i went further then it was done in the Philippines. my best wishes to all, I was borned in the pHilippines , left in 1962, when I joined the U.S.Navy, now retired and live in Florida and nice to listened to this music while sipping wine and watched the ocean shore. I feel like I'm with my papa and mama everytime I heard this song Faithful love 😘 💕 how I love this song too 💜💟💟

I was either in Grade 1 or 2, but I remember during yearly barrio fiesta there was always dancing at evening time in our what we call "auditorium" and this instrumental was always played, and the teenage adults would dance slow embrace-liked to this tune. Now listening to this, just brings back some awesome childhood days. Who could ever forget the twang from that guitar, so good! And so surreal! Nothing compares. And now I'm finding out that the composer of this tune is a Filipino, I always thought it was some tune an import from another country. Just wow! Salamat! :)

Been searching this song almost 5yrs now. It used to a ringtone of my superior back in the day before he passed away. I remember we always stop talking when someone call/text him just to listen to the entire piece. After my disembarkment, I was always intrigued by this song in my mind ever since. sa edad kong 23, i really appreciate this music... wala ng makakatalo pa sa musika ng nakaraan at kapanahunan ng lolo at lola ko...they are are timeless songs na kahit lumipas pa heneresyon namin ngayon, nakaukit na sa puso at di pagsasawaan... i love this sooo much!

Very sweet music for dancing, I remenber during the 70, yup it's right the amplifier was on top of the coconut trees. So nature, wedding n Flores de Mayo are popular music , nice to bring back the memories.

I remember when I was in the Philippines in my teenage years we have a dancing hall in our hometown plaza and every weekend we have an occasions held in that hall and they played this music with a loud speaker 2 to 3 times. Thanks to you tube and the one who uploaded it. This music brings back memories of the past. I miss my country.
