There are some plans that have been failing for years for me and I’ve been holding on to in the name of persistence but maybe it’s time to go back to God and check with him if that’s what he wants for me or if I’m not idolizing my goals and that’s why he keeps denying me because I can see the signs. It's so lovely to be relieved from these thoughts. I don't have to be chained up and do things because in truth they are turning into distractions and keeping me from God

A few weeks ago I was in a depression funk, I just happened to come across your videos ( coincidence?) and it felt like the sign that I needed to see to remember that God has a plan and that I’m going through all of this for a reason but that I’m not alone. Thank you, I really needed this. ❤ I've been struggling to lay down a crush who is just everything I've wanted in a husband, and more, and God has been speaking to me deeply about surrendering that FULLY to Him. Praying that with His help, I could do that, and not pick it back up anymore but leave it at His feet. He is faithful and trustworthy, and as you mentioned, He is a safe place where we can lay our desires down and know that He'll give us exactly what we need.

This must be God bc that is exactly what I am struggling with! Been battling with this for a while now (made worse by the fact that he is not a believer but a dear friend of mine), and stumbling across your comment is confirmation God wants me to lay this down 🙏🏾❤️

This time last year, I gave up my desire to pursue wealth through my real estate business. I was just starting to get traction in my business, I was doing deals and making more money than I was in the military. The problem was, it was my everything, and I was a bad steward of my money. I had actually decided to get out of the military to pursue real estate full time, and then I decided that would be a dangerous choice just 3 weeks before I got out of the military, and I had no back up plan! This last year has been hard because I caused myself to have to run in circles as the result of my poor choices before, but God gave provision although it was uncomfortable at most times. It was necessary for my development, I’m now starting to acknowledge God in my life, and I’m starting to finally get settled. I’m excited to discover His awesome plan as opposed to mine 😊

You are right when you said that faith is easy when things are going smoothly but when things get hard faith really tested! right now I have to lay down my husband health and have faith that God is working in a way that right now we don't see but he will reveal him self soon. Thank you for these videos they are a blessing and a great reminder of how the Lord works and is working in our life. Have a blessed day!

Soooo needed! I had been participating in a writing challenge this month but had made organizing every hour of my day and reaching my word goals an idol… I burnt out this week and finally hit a wall by getting sick. I’m so grateful that the Lord forced me to slow down and give him the wheel again. I pray I can use this time resting physically to cozy up to my Abba and be strengthened and realigned to do the things He’s called me to following His timeline and not mine 🙏🏼

WOW! Deborah, I am SO thankful that I have found your videos. My mind kept getting tossed around with distractions of strife at work and my desire to move into a higher more esteemed position and always asking why God hasn’t revealed what career field I should be in. Your video tonight spoke of letting my desire go and to just concentrate on being in my job to bless others and help being people back to God. I’m here to advance His kingdom and not to be in it for money and for my pleasure of recognition. I wrote a lot of notes to keep my focus daily and keep going forward in faith and at the feet of Jesus. ❤

One step at a time sis. Everytime you feel the urge to smoke, try to pray or read the Bible. Reciting His Word also help. Just lay it at His feet, and try not to 'hide' it from Him, but give it over to Christ. He has already deliverd you🤗❤

I used to have a similar situation and becoming borderline alcoholic. I continued on almost died because I couldn’t stop and overdid it once with mixing both. But the lord helped me and gave me a second chance. Not saying this would happen to you because god forbid but I was completely all in to my substances and I’ve been sober for the last 6 months. I don’t plan on drinking anymore even with family or friends and rather drink a soda or snack on something if I’m feeling like doing anything with the mouth. But I pray the lord helps you to quit because I was helped as well. If he did it for me he’ll do it for you. But you also have to want to stop because I honestly never did and at some point that’s when I could’ve been gone. Better to just try your best to completely stop trust me it’s not that bad and you’ll still enjoy life! :)

I’m realizing each day that there is such beauty in letting go and letting God take the wheel and be the author and finisher of our faith. God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent (Numbers 23:19). He gives us the desires of our hearts, and He makes sure to fulfill it. That’s why He asks us to lay down our desires so that our hearts can be so drawn to Him that we don’t use those desires He gives us for ourselves, but for the glory of His Kingdom. On the days it comes out, it feels like my Daily bread to take back and ponder on in prayer with God… and it’s always right on time. Praying: - Jeremiah 30:17 “For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal,” declares the Lord. - Psalm 91:11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways Over you and whomever has come across this comment NEEDING THIS. You are his loved, cherished & precious possession. No harm will overtake you. No matter how worn out, tired and unable you feel to give any further I pray for God to fill you with supernatural strength. Your present help is here. Even when you feel incapable, HIS grace is sufficient in your weakness. You are covered on every side. Let go of guilt, let go of not pleasing him ‘well-enough’, let go of the enemies foul-play in your thoughts and return (EVEN IN YOUR BROKENESS) to his feet and Just let it out and let it go before him… then when all is said and done, Get up and try again. Get up and breathe again, get up and remind yourself that you’re stronger than you know. Take back your authority and limp forward if you’ve got to…. You’re moving unseen mountain at every step. The enemy can only give you an illusion of the attack but Jesus has secured the victory. It’s not a mirage. It’s a fact, sealed under his blood with YOUR name secure within it. It’s already done! He won’t let you go and that is a PROMISE. It is written in Deuteronomy 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged. You’ve got this. (I didn’t even intend on commenting because I rarely do but somebody needs this!) 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
