Faith Salie on President Trump's potty mouth

President Donald Trump stepped in it this week when he called Haiti, El Salvador, and nations in Africa "sh*thole countries," preferring that America welcome immigrants from Norway instead. A political and diplomatic sh*tstorm ensued, played out (sometimes without asterisks!) in the nation's news outlets. Contributor Faith Salie discusses what happens when our nation's chief executive uses language best scrawled on a bathroom stall.

Just a few months ago faith did a report on how intelligent people used profanity. Her hole report was full of bleeps and praising people who curse. Now trump said on word and in true liberal fashion the do the opposite.

railroadcody Intelligent people knows in which context to use profane words. And, using profane words, specially when they damage international relationships, endanger the military that are in the mentioned places, appear in the news around the globe and makes USA look ridiculous and rude, it is not intelligent. At all.

"....arguably racist." That's like saying that the Earth is arguably round. Journalists who do not have the courage to call out Trump's racism should find a new career.
