America is a constitutional republic...Not a democracy. We have a constitution protecting the rights of individuals in their pursuits of education and a fair life.

I'm glad I watched, but I already knew her story and still cannot understand how her bona fides exculpate her and the war crimes are but a part. She fails to see how her primary religious influences (i.e. Niebhur, Keller) are white and are feeble interrogators of white Christian nationalism. Neibhur was King's inspiration for "Why We Can't Wait" after paternalistically appealing for more patience. I get the impression she, too, calls for patience. I want to know why she felt a need to sit behind Brett Kavanaugh during the Capitol Hill hearing and has continued to laud him. So many questions.

I would suggest that commenters on this forum take great care with the statements you write. Calling someone a war criminal is irresponsible. Calling anyone anything associated with the word "criminal" is unacceptable. Consistent with Dr. Rice's suggestion, can we not engage in civil discourse about our differences in opinion without ad hominem attacks?
