Back before Records of Ragnarok had an anime (which is trash btw dont watch it), there was a channel called AmiasD who'd animate the manga panels and put OSTs over it, it was commonly known as the best way to enjoy the series. This is the OST that played during a certain character's death (more important than Simon in fairy tail icl). This is why a large chunks of the comments talk about that instead of FT.

@@kotori-chama799 This track was used for a video by AmiasD posting fights from the series Shuumatsu no Valkyrie; basically, it's a 13-on-13 tournament between historical humans (aided by the Valkyrie sisters who morph into the humans' weapons) and reknowned gods of various pantheons. Imo this track was better used there in those fights than in Fairy Tail where it was actually made for. Even though you only know those most of the combatants for one fight, their outcomes can drive you to tears.

I think it actually was a beautifully heartwrenching moment. Just seeing the dread and pain in Cain Able and espetially Eve‘s face combined with all the other people in the audiance first losing hope but then resolving themselves to resolutely continue standing against the gods and not cry to honour Adams Last wish was beautiful. And this Song to top it off

"No... it is... my loss..." - Jack the Ripper. RIP Heracles. Honestly, I cried for both Adam AND Heracles even though they were on technically opposing sides. Adam held no true malice or ill-will for the gods; every punch he gave and every hit he took was expressly for the sake of his family... not just Eve, Cain and Abel, but each and every human who are all directly descended from the first man himself. Even AFTER he died from so many godly hits, he kept swinging with all his might until the god father of the cosmos himself finally collapsed, and went out with a proud and fearless smile on his face. Heracles knew all of humanity's flaws firsthand - greed, jealousy, discrimination, hatred, bigotry - and ascended to become one of the gods himself... but he still fully loved mankind with all his heart. Even in his final moments he passed his wish to save humanity to the very woman who had Jack kill him, going so far as to give the serial killer an empathetic hug rather than strike him down, and went out with a proud and fearless smile of his own. I only hope that Ares and the other gods realize that the pain they felt when they lost their beloved hero is the *EXACT* same pain Eve and all of humanity felt when they lost their beloved father. *Rest in Peace, Father of Man and God of Fortitude.*

@@mrreyes5004 Jack the Ripper vs Heracles was my favourite fight right up until Buddha vs Zerofuku because that fight was intense and it is going to be amazing when it gets animated. The fight after that is Hades vs... Well, we do not know yet but I suspect it will be Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. Not going to lie, he dared to sit in Hades chair during the Lu Bu vs Thor fight, demanded that two gods bow before him and bitched slapped Ares with one arm. He is an absolute chad badass and he knows it.

I can't describe the feeling I have whenever I listen to this ost.. I also remember Erza and Jellal ' s story and how painful and sad it was especially in the beginning. The arc when Jellal is evil was one of the best arcs

2:05 is the music when Erza and jellal almost kiss, it is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and that scene is equally beautiful.

Here after Heracles AND Adam died. It's so odd... they were on technically opposing sides... *but I know I'm not the only one who sobbed at both of their deaths.* I hope that the gods realize that the pain they felt when they lost their hero is the same pain humanity felt when they lost their father. Bad enough that Adam and Heracles went out with proud, fearless smiles on their faces... it was the heartbreaking reactions of their loved ones - Eve, Castor, Cain, Ares, Abel - that really broke my tear ducts. I haven't cried that hard in a long time; a testament to how good Shuumatsu no Valkyrie is at eliciting complicated feelings in its audience from an otherwise simple conflict of men vs gods. *Rest in Peace, Father of Humanity and God of Fortitude.*

Actually Shuumatsu no Valkyrie fits with this OST a lot better than FT at most points imo, although I love Fairy Tail, Shuumatsu gained a special place in my heart as well, especially Adams fight and as Ejac said, I would also recommend watching Zeus vs Adam from AmiasD Backup on KZread, when this OST played, we all cried bitterly.
