I adore Lucy’s character because of how realistic (as much as it can get) her character is, like she proves to everyone that you don’t have to be superrr strong or overpowered to win, i love how she isn’t that physically powerful but mentally she is sooo strong and such an amazing strategist. Like her character teaches us that you don’t have to as amazing or OP as other characters like natsu or erza or have a sad backstory to become powerful.

she had amazing development. she was a naive girl from a rich background, abused by her father. she had no skill, but she had aspirations. she practiced, she didn’t learn this skill out of nowhere. it took YEARS for her to get this skill. that is why she is realistic. she wasn’t naturally gifted, she learned it.

Anybody else shitty that they grew Wendy's hair back? Cutting her hair was such a turning point for her character and then the writer was like "oop it's back 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️"

I'm with you. Its a common thing when a character is moving forward and leaving their old "weaker" self behind. Garnet/Dagger of FF9, Serena of DQ11, Zuko and Iroh from Avatar the Last Airbender, Korra from Legend of Korra, Sakura from Naruto (though that moment doesn't quite live up to its own coolness). Those are the ones that come to mind right away I feel like the author maybe got backlash from the change in appearance and semi bullied for it

Always find it funny how the demons be like: We are going to find and bring back END and then they proceeded to try to kill Natsu

I think it is because they think that it is just the book i don't think anyone even us who watched this episode when it first came out (Or read the manga chapter for the first time) could even guess that it wasn't about the book. Maybe Zeref set it up that way so Natsu would get stronger and eventually one day off him.

Because nobody knows Natsu is END except Zeref. He tells him in the final arc when he fights Natsu for the first time.

I love how in 4:33 save orders are actually from characters they have a bond. -After what happens from Phantom Lord, Gajeel is first to save Lucy -Juvia was with Gajeel since Phantom Lord -Gray and Juvia got close together since Juvia joined -No need to tell Natsu and Gray are like two bickering siblings

Ppl don't understand that celestial spirit magic is LUCY'S magic. If her magic didn't take an animate form she would be seen as so strong, but because her magic takes the form of spirits (which USE /HER/ magic) they assume she doesnt do anything because they don't realise its her. Even though the celestial spirit king destroyed alegria, it was HER magic which did it. Same as when natsu uses fire or when mira uses her demon souls. Only difference is that her magic manifests as animated forms.

I don't know why anyone hates any of fairy tails characters be it protagonist or villain. There all good with there own growth and power. Lucy started out weak and now shes strong. Shes easily at the strength of gildarts before his prime with fairy sphere. Im hoping 100 year quest her next star dress is aquarius then she can combine them and get celestial spirit king power.

I just realized that this is Lucy's first star dress

This was on of the most epic scenes in the whole of fairy tail in my opinion. I think I cried throughout this whole episode while cheering at the same time😭

Lucy's magic is so cool. I feel like people underestimate it due to it working differently to other mages but she's essentially a power source for and her supply contributes to the strength of her spirits plus she has to use her magic to pluck them out of their dimension into her own. It's so unique and more complex, it's no wonder she gets so exhausted fighting using her spirits,

The relationship between demons and Celestial Spirits, a mystery here

To those who are saying Lucy's weak, this episode just prove them WRONG. First off, she summoned 3 spirits all at once wherein those 3 spirits of hers where ACTIVELY using her magic thus draining her continuously and yet she manages to have them there until they were too injured to stay. Second, she SUMMONED the Celestial Spirit King AFTER summoning 3 GOLDEN Gate Keys and having them drained her magic before. To think she is still able to summon the King, the KING of the whole Celestial Realm, after summoning and supplying 3 Golden Gate Spirits at once, and then SUPPLIED the King magic to battle against Hades! Seriously! The King is a king for a reason which means he needs a TREMENDOUS amount of magic to not only be summoned, but to have him stay out of the Celestial Realm, use magic and fight Hades and is also going toe to toe with Hades the Underworld King meaning all the powers he uses came from the magic being supplied by Lucy. Finally!, The mental state to continue even tho it hurts Lucy to break one of her keys. Regardless if it's her favourite spirit, first spirit and what not. Hope this shut Lucy's haters mouth.

Well the Star Dress is kind of her own signature spell, so far we have no record of any other Celestial Wizard being able to use it. Also nt sure if you're caught up with the the 100 Years Quests so I won't spoil anything but she does expand on her power and makes it even cooler then it was before!

spoilers if you haven't read 100yr quest lucy has spells like gottfried, urano metria, really good star dress mixes, etc

If I am the writer it may take 2 options to have a star dress called "celestial queen " : 1. She need to complete the 13 gold zodiac keys you must have enough magic power to summon all of the 13 gold keys at once to deserve the crown the star dress rather. 2. Sacrifice one of the gold keys. You must have a deep connection with any of the celestial spirits, by braking one of the gold keys that you have deep connection with, she can summon the celestial spirit king and borrow the power of the celestial king itself that will be the possible thing to happen.

Am I the only person who thought Wendy cutting her hair wasn't really cool at all. I saw it and I was like why? (Still love fairy tail dont get me wrong)

Its really upsetting that Lucy's Urano Metro(?) Spell didn't work all the time... I think (excluding the celestial spirits arc) that it only works twice. Every other time she tried, something always got in the way

In the anime, she only cast it 4 times First she used it against angel/sorano. Second at grand magic games but zeref's pet/obra countered it by sucking all of her magic power like what she did to wendy. Third lucy and yukino used it against eclipse Virgo and libra and they one shot them. The last was from jackal.

I've red FT manga.... and if i'm not mistaken... Spirit's power scales with the summoner, regardless the spirit.... so basically if Lucy in FT 100Y quest manga would summon spirit king, wouldnt spirit king be stronger than vs Mard geer? Or does SK skip the power scaling of the summoner?

Just like Mard Geer said, the SK is no exception to that rule as well, he by himself in the Spirit World would be much more powerful. So yea, if 100-YQ Lucy did it, he would be stronger.

I really wish Wendy kept her short hair. It was so badass when after defeating a top rank enemy, she cut her hair. Only for her to regrow it and go back to her cute trope. It was probably a marketing decision but if they were gonna do that, don't cut her hair at all

*100 YEAR QUEST SPOILERS* Rewatching how Lucy got Aquarius's star dress (and subsequently unlocking star dress of other spirits) makes me salty about Yukino getting the same power up. Like I love Yukino but I don't feel like she earned the star dress ability. Lucy had to sacrifice Aquarius's key and then trained to master the ability but Yukino thought real hard about it and?? Got the star dress?? Never saw a bigger disrespect to Lucy's sacrifice tbh

Yeah it doesn't feel earned with Yukino. She's lovely but unless it was Lucy herself teaching Yukino how to unlock star dresses, it makes zero sense for her to earn those abilities, especially since the Heartfilia's in general are so deeply rooted and connected to Celestial Magic
