Taqqya is in the bible and tought by Paul... that's why christians are using it against islam. They think they can have the same verses in the Quran. In the Quran you can only lie against your faith if your life is in danger. But in the Bible, Paul teachs that you can lie to convert people. You can lie for God in the bible. Romans 3:7 "But," someone might still argue, "how can God condemn me as a sinner if my dishonesty highlights his truthfulness and brings him more glory?"

@LuneXoO No I’m talking about the whole scenario “an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind” it applies to violence everywhere, until one notices that it is enough and we need to stop, people will be involved in a continuous loop of getting even with the other with violence. The two examples you gave me just adds up to it. For you these so called attackers are defenders just the same way as the attackers I mentioned are defenders to their people.

Request, many nonbelievers are coming to me, as I am the only Muslim graduate student wearing Hejab, and they always asked me many questions and some times violates Islam. I was always thinking that I have stupid answers for them. So, sometimes I prefer to be silent or to say what in my mind. My question is what should I read to be ready? How to start? Remember, I am working in the university and most of those have literally a good education.

[14] And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Philippians 2:5-6 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. John 10:33 NKJV [33] The Jews answered Him, saying, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God." John 8:58 NKJV [58] Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." Titus 2:13 NKJV [13] looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

@alonrose According to Ibn Hajar, Fatima was born at the time the Ka`bah was rebuilt, when the Prophet was 35 years old... she was five years older that Ayesha (Al-isabah fi tamyizil-sahabah, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, Vol. 4, p. 377, Maktabatul-Riyadh al-haditha, al-Riyadh, 1978). If Ibn Hajars statement is factual, Ayesha was born when the Prophet was 40 years old. If Ayesha was married to the Prophet when he was 52 years old, Ayeshas age at marriage would be 12 years.

@mmary952 - As for stoning, in a truly Islamic country, that penalty would almost never be enforced, as the prerequisites for it are extremely difficult to meet. During the time of the prophet, it was only carried out once, on a woman who herself came forward and confessed and asked to be stoned in order to purify her from the guilt in the hereafter.

you should know that saying Jesus could have never died would be against the prophecies about Him, and it would be good for you to know that everyone who rejects God dies from sin, but whoever looks to Christ is healed from his sin. the sign for that was with Moses, when God sent fiery snakes to bite all the people who rejected God and Moses, but he made a fiery serpent and rose it up on a stick, and whoever looked at it lived. the Son of God was made to bear sin so that we could live

@CAPPenterprises christianity on the other hand is so confusing not only to non christians but to christians as well. everything about christianity is debatable and indefinite. the birth of jesus, the death of jesus, the rising of jesus, the trinity, the bible(s)! who told you to worship a cross?! to sing, drink wine and dance in the church?!. christianity is also changing to adapt! what's a religion that changes?!, a costumed one. christianity is lost and what you have now is a very bad copy.

@MARZOOGI Freedom of Speech is important- Jesus did not teach to "silence" those with force who "hurt your feelings" - he taught to turn the other cheek- Silencing freedom of speech by force is wrong yes- and because Islam is a theocracy it says that speaking against Allah or Muhammed is not allowed by anyone- however when people speak against Jesus or Yahweh (Jewish God) - they are allowed to do that without any fear. That is because Christianity and Judaism respect freedom of speech instead...

How come you do not mention the nuclear program under the Shah? You know one of the main reasons he was removed was because of that very reason? Right!? Every government steals from its people, does bad things to its people. Am I supposed to blame Christianity for the corrupt government in predominately Christian countries?

The moment the Shah shifted gears towards nuclear ambition, he was replaced. But to your point. NOT ALL IRANIANS WERE THE SHAH. Go to any outskirt and see how they thought of the Shah. Partially you can check in this you tube: (Shah speach of oil in 1973) the contract suppose to be finished in 1979 and he didn't want to renew cause he believed it was his people money. Shah was a true patriot and today all Iranian who were against him are regretted deeply. Exactly in 1979 he was removed because of that decision!

@mmary952 - What you say shows how little you know about Islam. No my friend, Shiite's version of Islam is a perverted version. Many mainstream Muslims don't even consider Shiites to be within the fold of Islam. Also, Hanafi and Hanbali are both Sunna, they are only schools of thought, neither of Which differ on the core theology of Islam. As for Christianity, do you think Protestants would have no problem with me citing Mormonism to portray what Christianity stands for? or even Catholicism? No

If their actions contradict Islamic teachings, then it's not from Islam, it's a perverted version of Islam. Adults don't retaliate against childish fallacies. You don't need to beat up everyone who insults you. That's what children do. Jesus taught people to turn the other cheek. Why don't you listen to what he taught?

@mmary952 Wrong, wrong, wrong. During the reign of the Shah (which was before the current regime), Iranian people had not these normal lives you proclaim. Only a certain amount of Iranians enjoyed basic human accommodations. People in rural and lower classes were not benefitted. Must I remind you that the Shah's secular government had a secret police force known as the Savak? Plus, the Shah and his "friends" consolidated almost all of the oil money in their own pockets!
