Ok sorry: I fear christians because the christian Serbs committed massacres of ethnic cleansing against mulism bosnians in the 90's. I am as caucasian as you as i am of pure turkish descent. Our officlals are bad not because they are muslims, but because they are almost non-muslims. Malaysia is an all muslim country having an incredibly rich economy. Rwanda is an all christian country sinking in poverty and ignorance because of corruption. Wow! Seems like new facts for Mr. Eager Here!

"I didn't quote the verse after coz I was focusing on the verse in question" You quote the verse because you wanted a "Cheap shot" at deception, but after you found out that I actually knew the scriptures, you start taking humble approaches. Like I said. There is no interpretations really needed to explain Matthew 10:34, It explained itself. It's like quoting a verse saying one of Jesus followers cut a man's ear off. (Then stop there) when the other verse read that Jesus healing the mans ear

Thank you marcelco69- Apparently it was new to someone- because there was confusion about what Abraham gave to Ishmael in terms of inheritance. I listed the blessings. However, I did not mention that the Lord would multiply his descendants exceedingly, and that he would be a wild man- his hand against every man and every man's hand against him.

Are you being serious right now, or is this a troll attempt? It's clearly talking about division. Hebrew 4:12 "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." The Two edged Sword is talking about division by the Word of GOD. This is why the verse right after talked about Division among families. Choose Jesus over people, basically.

"When did I ever exclude the Holy Spirit?" - Ok I will show you by quoting you. "Means when people gather in the name of THE LORD GOD, HIS Son, the Holy Spirit is there" - Shouldn't people gather in the name of god, father & holy spirit? Since they are one even though they are three? God also gave us a brain to guide us away from nonsensical beliefs such as the trinity.

Matthew 10:34 (Matthew 10:34-36) - "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35"For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; 36and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household." Just quoting the full verse alone disproves your fail attempt to mislead me and others reading. Be careful, for you will be accountable. I pray the Lord have mercy.

@jalontube56 hang on, what verse were you referring to in your previous post?? A prophet does not mean he is the son of God. The Bible states that Jesus is a creation of God. He is also, more frequently, referred to as the Son of Man. The problem is when you can't prove he is God you try to prove he is the Son of God. Is he then the son of himself???

Look, the verse on its own has Jesus saying that I didn't come to bring peace but to bring the sword. On its own, there are no metaphors involved coz the verse is very clear & any reasonable person would take it literally. But u have to defend the bible so u interpret it in a nice manner which is fine with me. But I am not fine with u accusing me of deception because my intentions were sincere. I understand that ur hatred for muslims is very strong but I would like some decency here.

Bless u, u got carried away but if u look carefully the verse 10:34 stops after the bit about bringing the sword. Then the new verse starts. Now when you have a full stop at the end of the words, that means the sentence is finished. The verse is clear but u r using all this wishy washy stuff. I'm pretty sure he meant a physical sword coz he also says he didn't come to bring peace.

This is not my interpretation, The verse was explained. "Not to bring peace" Division among families, friends etc. Example: A muslim converting to Christianity in a muslim countries, families will seek to kill that ex-muslim (No peace) "Sword" The Word of GOD Example: Muslim reading scriptures and start believing that Jesus is the Son of GOD and that he is the only way. It's funny how you attack the Bible, when your own Prophet confirmed the accuracy of the Bible.

@jalontube56 He immediately asks "Many Good works have i shown you from MY FATHER, for which of these do you stone me?" Here he explicitly tells us that his miracles are the works of GOD, differentiating the two entities. The Jews respond by saying it is not for the works but because he "makest thyself God". This is blasphemy, (which the Christians obviously don't agree with).

"That's why I wont fear ""YOUR"" Allah" read carefully. Also, the god in the Qur'an is not the same GOD in the Bible. Maybe that's why you keep getting confused. The name Allah is never found in the Bible, either in Greek or Hebrew. The closest two words find are the Hebrew "alah" (which means to curse, mourn or rise, and is never applied to God) Arguing Allah is in the Bible because of similarities, is like saying Mormon is in the Qur'an because it looks like Muslim.

I'm assuming you already know what that verse means and is using "taqiyya" or maybe you really don't understand scriptures. It's not surprising that you stop at "But to bring sword..." Because you probably knew, that the went into talking about division. The Sword is not a physical sword, is talking about the Scriptures, The Word of GOD.

But this isn't the fault of Islam, its the fault of the tyrannical government that has been foisted on the public. It is not just the christian or hindu minority but even Islamic scholars cannot freely discuss religion as the government controls it strictly

If a murderer admits that he killed, that does not mean he doesn't get punished. And again, Paul could have been sincere but sincerely wrong. But I doubt it, I think Paul wanted to spread the message to non Jews so he relaxed the law to attract as many people to the faith as he could.

At any rate my point is- if you want to have those laws- go right ahead- keep them in your Muslim countries, and I am only talking about those Muslims who want to live under Sharia. If you want to live somewhere else, live by the laws. My God covered the punishment for every sin on the cross, we live by the laws that govern our country. And we are still obedient to the law of God.

"The truth is this: Jesus set all people free from religion, and introduced a way of life." I think the truth is more subtle than that. Ok, did Jesus say you are never to follow a religion? NO! Did he say I have come only for the Jews? Yes! Did he clearly state he is not sent to the gentiles? YES! Did he ever say the Jewish law should be abolished? NEVER! Did Paul later relax the law? YES. I blame Paul for hijacking pure teachings of Christ by appointing himself as an apostle based on a vision

All along, the unbelievers asked Muhammad to perform a miracle so that they could believe. All they got in response was, Q. 17: 90 They say: "We shall not believe in thee, until thou cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth, And he would reply: Q. 17: 93 Say: "Glory to my Lord! Am I aught but a man,- a messenger?" People doubted Muhammad because they saw nothing extraordinary or miraculous in him.

Yeah I have heard many of these personal stories from hindus, budhists, sikhs etc. Many people call us to have faith in many things. It is all about using the senses and our intellectual faculty that god has gifted us with in order to seek the truth. Truth has to make sense, it can't be a confusing mystery like the trinity. Your bible says god is not the author of confusion. So truth must at the least, make a lot of sense. And truth can't be nonsense.

because their eyes were heavy. 44 So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. 45 Then he returned to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Rise, let us go! Here comes my betrayer!" So as you can see, Jesus prayed in a certain way, & I would invite you to pray in the same way & follow the teaching of Jesus.

GOD is not a man, that does not mean GOD cannot become a man. For example: GOD is not a bush/tree, yet GOD appeared to Moses as a burning bush. (OT) Also, if you say GOD cannot do this or GOD cannot do that, that is a form of blasphemy against GOD, you begin to create your own GOD. "Give me the miracles of Muhammad that he was bestowed with" The Bible called Muhammad a false prophet before Muhammad was born, it even called Muhammad an anti-Christ.

Don't get me wrong, I believe in Jesus as a prophet & love, respect & revere his teachings but the gospel of Jesus got lost and gospel of unknown 4 people along with letters of Paul is what prevailed. That is really sad because now Christians all over are following a religion ABOUT Jesus NOT the religion OF Jesus

"...Also the people of Judah and the people of Jerusalem you have sold to the Greeks, that you may remove them far from their borders. Behold, I will raise them out of the place to which you have sold them, and will return your retaliation upon your own head. I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the people of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off; for the Lord has spoken.

And because of their saying, "We killed Messiah 'Iesa, son of Maryam, the Messenger of Allah," - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but the resemblance of 'Iesa was put over another man (and they killed that man), and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)] 4:157.So the Quran makes it very clear that Isa (AS) was neither killed, nor crucified.

Do you think the christian slavemasters practiced christian charity to you great grandparents? Where was the christian spirit when your parents or grand parents were not allowed to share the same bus or church as the white folk?

@amanwithdreams Sorry to step in here but I see you mentioned Islam is made up of pagan practices (kissing the black stone). Do you agree on the fact that the black stone was stolen once and even if it was dislocated, pilgrimage was NOT suspended and the direction of praying was NOT changed! Why?

Jesus said "If you have seen me, you've seen the father" John 14:7 The reason why Jesus said this, is because in him was the light of the living GOD, his fleshly human nature was seen. This is why Christians say "God in Flesh" Also, Jesus left his throne in heaven and made himself a servant on earth. Hebrew 2:7. The Bible did called Muhammad an Anti-Christ. 1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

If trinity is so central to Christianity, why does the word trinity not mentioned in the bible? There is a lot of confusion, many christians struggle to grasp the concept of trinity, an average Christian is not expected to delve in too deeply into theology but that is what he will have to do in order to fully understand the so called mystery. Mystery is a euphemism for nonsense. Saying 3 persons are 1 person or 1 person are 3 persons simply doesn't make sense. It irrational and strange too.

Saying Mary is the greatest of woman does not prove anything. The Bible clearly calls Muhammad an anti-Christ, because he denies the father and son. And it amazes me how Muslims would quote a verse that "Seems" to agree with them but throw out verses that does not agree with them. Watch Jesus or Muhammad on youtube and learn a little bit, it's clear that you don't know your own Quran nor the Bible.

@jalontube56 Hahaha I didn't say it, I'm quoting it from your book. Ok Jalon, did you know that in the Quran there is an entire chapter devoted to Mary, the mother of Christ? Why does the Bible hardly mention the purest of all women? The mother of their own prophet? Jesus is mentioned more than Muhammed, because he is revered as one of the mightiest of Gods messengers.

its not something new that hagar went out with ishmael to the desert, thats also in the muslim version of the story and btw there were blessings he sent on ishmael but not to the same degree we know that, thats why the quran overly repeats abrhams and sarahs miracle with issac and the blessings given to the children of israel this is nothing new to us

Verily, those who [despite all evidence] are bent on denying the truth - [be they] from among the followers of earlier revelation or from among those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God - will find themselves in the fire of hell, therein to abide: ""They Are The Worst Of Creatures"". S. 98:6 Asad The Arab Christians were using the Word Al-ila not Allah, the Muslims came and made it "Allah" which is a pagan moon GOD. There is no where in the Bible Hebrew or Greek, where Allah is found.

i would like to add though that Muhammad might of had family leading to Ishmael but that doesnt mean all the arabs are from ishmael you cant just say the arabs=ishmael and the jews=issac it doesnt even matter anymore because 80% of muslims are not arab muslim is not a nationality or tribe therefore ishmaels blessing shouldnt mean that muslims will have a hand against every man

@GayRepublicanPatriot Before the state of Israel, Jerusalem was under Muslim rule as I ALREADY mentioned, for 6 CENTURIES. The Caliph Umar helped clean up the Holy Mount himself when he saw how badly the Christians had defiled the place. When it was cleared he invited the Jews back in to Jerusalem whom the Christians had exiled.

I am not getting clear answers for most of my questions so I doubt that Dr Strong's counter arguments will be that strong (no pun intended). God didn't say Christians must wait until Dr Strong comes along and finally tells us what the true meaning of the Bible is. I hope you get the point I'm trying to make, but I will have a look at his work & thank you for recommending me that. Maybe there is some insight I am missing out on.

The fact that mary is given such a high status in the quran shows that the Quran isn't biased. On the other hand, we see Ishmael, first son of Abraham, being referred to as a wild donkey since he is the father of the arabs. Whereas the quran gives respect to Isaac (father of the jewish nation) & acknowledges his prophet-hood, praises mary and her son Jesus. If that doesn't make you stop and think, then U have gone too deep into the mindless & hateful process of denial.
