Yeah, compared to previous maps you have to be REALLY fast here to make it in time. That mercenary can be stopped either ~turn 4 when he's around Ursula, or you can intercept him somewhere along his path to Zephiel. But once he's made it in that room before you, you're just done.

Guess I just wasn't ready for the difficulty spike. Even the harder maps up until this one didn't have anywhere near harsh time limits.

God, Zephiel, you really can't avoid or even tank a couple hits from some Joe Schmoe? This guy would make a terrible king. Nobody would respect or even fear him.

I wouldn't feel too bad about this. BBD is a map that basically requires prior knowledge and battle prep strategy. Without a good group of mounted units able to charge both ways there's a good chance either Jaffar will die before you can help deal with the enemies, or Zephiel's "Guess I'll die now" mercenary timer will kick in. This series has been a blast and I'm sad to see it end like this, but I look forward to whatever you do in the future.

Spoilers. RIP, man. What a playthrough. Loved your edits and looked forward to every episode. For a blind run, you did superb. Battle before Dawn (and onwards) is no joke - bane of many HHM runs. Looking forward to more such runs.

You know, I enjoyed this so much that I wouldn't have minded that you continued it even after failing the IronMan.

Honestly from the looks of it you were really close to actually saving him too, tragic man. This map is entirely unfair compared to everything else on HHM lol. Fun fact! Ursula moves on this mode! And she will just snipe the tar out of Zephial if Noone squishier is around!

The moment man entered Battle Before Dawn in FE7 Hector Hard Mode he sealed his fate... Entrusting his future to the green units, man clings to a dim hope... Yet, the unit classes are the means by which all is revealed... Beyond the enemies path lies the absolute end. It matters not who you are. Zephiels Death awaits you... You cannot escape Death. To live is to die; they are one in the same... Let us finish this. It is the path of your choosing. (Felt this was neccesary because of the music. Good job on making it this far blind Bicken! This map is well know for being an Ironman killer due to green unit AI setting you up for failure early. You're playing was pretty good, but Jaffar let a few to many enemies through. If he had been a bit better you probably would've had it in bag assuming Ursula was killed.)

Battle Before Dawn, the true Ironman run killer. The rest of the maps get about steady, but damn is it a gutpunch to even vanilla runs. So good making up to here

And so, the story of Hector and his friends was over. The army was alive, but now it will be impossible to stop Nergal. Will the heroes (that are bathing in blood lol) give up? Or will they retry?

SPOILERS Dang it Zephiel, you had one job. Well, at least we get to see what Three Houses shenanigans Bicken has in store for us.

Damn I was worried about this chapter. I knew a blind run-through would probably end here. That's why I was wondering if you did any research on this chapter cuz its just so much out of your control. Really loved this series though!! The fact you made it this far into the game is incredible

oof. This map is a walking pile of poor map design (by giving no indication of how long you have until zephril dies). It was a good fuckin run and you made amazing content. I can't wait to see more videos on how you would fix fates and other content in the future. I salute you

Bad ending: Hector planned 15+ years ahead to avoid his death.

Persona music based. And so the run comes to an end... Personal mvp for me was Erk, Hawkeye, and Guy.

I haven't played this game but from what my brother told me, who has played it, this chapter is incredibly difficult, especially blind. Even on normal mode gave him a few retries and nino still ended up dead.

Fun fact: One of the chests in this chapter had a Rescue staff! Not that it'd help 99% of the time, which makes me think the devs were extra evil when designing the abomination that is Battle Before Dawn. Good run! Looking forward to what comes next.

The only consistent strategy for BBD I've found is just using way too many paladins and fliers. Sad that this is where it ends, but it was a good run.

Unfortunately, some idiot got all my paladins and fliers killed, so I'm stuck with infantry.

Of course it ended with Zephiel dying in Battle Before Damn Honestly, it couldn't have gone any other way. But at least FE6 never happened, so that's good...?

Yeah this is a pretty shit map, even with tons of prep there's so much luck involved it's just terrible.
