I can relate so much to the part about needing to be right..... sometimes it's just so frustrating when I believe so strongly about something (once you see the truth on certain topics, you can't unsee it), but then the other person views you as a total idiot despite you quoting the "facts." It's hard for me to just "let it go," but I'm realizing more and more that that's what I need to do.

"stop being that obstacle" I have to pause the video here for a moment because I already need to take time to contemplate this. I've always struggled with thinking "I don't believe in forgiving [certain] other people/I can't/let other people do it, not me/that's just allowing abuse" because of the child abuse I went through. I thought "I've done enough by understanding why they did what they did, I don't want any more to do with them", but also, "for some reason" the pain and fear never heal. I always thought it didn't heal because I lacked loving people in my life, but maybe there's more to it.
