These are tips based on my own personal experience - I am not a travel expert.
1. Currency exchange - you are not able to take the local currency in or out of the country, however, you can do currency exchange in the country and it's usually a flat rate.
2. Keep the receipt when changing money - you will need to keep the receipts so that you can change your money back in case you have excess.
3. Proof of accommodation - have this information ready for passport control as they will ask.
4. Activities - book via your flight provider or GetYourGuide or at the hotels.
5. Best time to visit - the best time to visit weather wise is between May and October when it is really nice and hot. This is also the peak period.
6. Getting around - you can use the bold app or taxis
7. Get a guide - when visiting the medina, I will recommend a guide as they are mase like and you can get lost.
8. Everyone is trying to sell something - they will claim it's the best price or they are doing sale - do not believe them.
9. Be vigilant and beware or scammers - do not follow anyone you do not know regardless of what they are offering. Stay Safe!
10. Haggle hard! You will need to haggle prices if you want the best deals or simply go to the mall if you're not a fan of haggling.
