Would be nice to mention that, even if both the surface and the object were perfectly smooth (Which would cause no friction), the particles such as plain air would still, while very slowly, eventually cause enough friction to completely stop the object. It is also impossible to create a vacuum with no particles in it.

Just a question related to friction. If there's no friction on the surface and we take a ball and try moving it on the frictionless surface. Will it roll or slide? If it will slide then is friction needed for a object to roll?

Summary of this video Wow ! So there are 2 factors affecting friction :- 1.The nature of the 2 surfaces in contact :- whether they are rough or whether they are Smooth Smoother surface :- lesser friction Rough surface :- more friction Reason :- Irregularities in form of grooves and ridges ! 2.The force with which the 2 surfaces are pressed together . Also depends on the mass of an object for eg :- a 5 kg ball will move slowly cause it applys more force on the surface but a 2 kg ball will move faster because it doesn't press down much on the surface 😉

I am a subscriber of yours. I have analyzed a few KZread channels and found that in comparison, you still have quite little number of subscribers, say (1/10)th subscribers of those channels which publish videos of same level as of yours. Also, a few amateur informational video publishers on KZread, with far less number of published videos than yours, have about as many subscribers as you have or have more than half of the subscribers that you are having presently (I am talking about those amateur video publishers who publish hand written content, related to elementary studies or college level studies and are steadily posting videos from at-least 2 years). In short, I wish you had more subscribers because your content is just "excellent" and your lessons are also very easy to understand. I really appreciate your efforts and hope you get more subscriptions soon. I found your channel to be very beneficial. Keep up!

Some of the energy during friction will transfer into heat right? Does this mean that every time an object has friction it will loose atoms and become lighter?

Yes, for example if you rub a chalk on a rough surface it loses some particles. The same applies for others objects too in some objects like the one made of iron or any other strong material it will lose particles in a very small amount. If a hard object is rubbed on a surface for a long time the change will be noticeable.
