The swapping of POV from one side to another is absolutely game changing for these scenarios. Being able to listen to what each team is strategizing real-time is amazing. I don't generally like Napoleon but I loved watching this battle. I would watch more of these. Great job on the video and great job coordinating in game.

I love watching the competitive type game modes. Its fun to watch everyone try their hardest and make good tactical decisions. And its obviously amazing that it's for charity as well. Good video all the way around.

This is easily one of the most fun Napoleon Total War battles I've ever seen. I just loved showing both teams perspectives and mindsets throughout the fight. My shako hat is off to all involved. Great stuff Apollo!

What an epic battle!! Enjoyed every second of it you should do more of this.

Just going to point out they could perfect their strategy by making both their armies half artillery and half infantry etc... this way both armies are versatile and both armies can form up properly pre match start. maybe like 1 artillery for every 2 infantry units maybe also 2-3 units of cav as well

in total, the amount of cannon's Fish N Chips had was like 44. can you imagine the destruction and noise in battles that had over 200 cannons?

Man, SUCH a good battle. Great performances from everyone involved, but hats off to you and Cody for pulling off that assault.

I hope there are a few more videos like this in the future, this was super good. I myself was very worried at first, my favorite TW youtuber was facing an entire line of cannon, scary. After the first few moves I knew our Commander in Chief Pixie Poo and General Cody had this battle where they wanted it, they took the initiative and applied a perfect advance that turned into a complete encirclement. Cant wait to watch the second battle. Victory and Honor to the Blue and White Battle Banner!!! Knight of Apollo for life!!!

Two of my favorite historic gameplay ICONS fighting alongside one another in a pitched battle against seemingly all odds was a spectacle. I legit cheered and clapped when PA said he could think of no one else to join him besides Cody. Can't wait to see how the next battle ends.

Just an incredible attack in depth and envelopment. I'd probably have consolidated more of the Russians on the left earlier, but keeping them on the right keeps the cannons on their toes so it's not really a mistake.

An entire army of artillery would be harsh in real life lol

What you are witnessing here is what the Hearts of Iron community calls "Artillery Only", which came about as a meme around iSorrowProduction when he made a series of videos where he tried to beat HoI4 with only one type of unit. Artillery Only was generally deemed near impossible, since artillery has next to zero organization, but when ISP hit 300k subs, he did it anyway.

That artillery trick they pulled was hilarious.

ive had the same kind of battle with sam set up but on grassy flat land and there was no way to try and shift to the other side like you did. we got completley wiped
