there are lots of others keeping rome 2 alive. Curved bubbles hosts a tournament, heir of carthage did a whole campaign last year, asserror is covering cup of nations. there are 6,000 people playing rome 2 right now. Thats incredible for a 9 year old game

I feel the only good way to play Rome 2 campaign is DEI honestly. Try the mod set when you get the chance.

@@LegionOfRome I would watch a DEI tutorial on KZread. It makes the game alot more complex, but the battles...WOW. Night and day difference. And the unit selection is out of this world.

The defenders used those front gate towers well, easily over 100 kills from keeping those towers on their side

This siege made me cry. They had all they needed to win. All they had to do was to coordinate their attacks, if the Beserkers had rushed earlier, they would've won.

I really did enjoy this video. I’m more of a lower skilled player myself so watching others of similar skill playing makes me want to get back into it. I like Rome total war 2 but I really like Thrones of Britannia just didn’t know why it didn’t take off like Rome

I would love to see 3v4, Attacker advantage, and see a very diverse, no spammed units, army comp. It does get boring to see a spammed army. I consider over 2 units of the same spam except tier 1, conscripts, levies and slave units are mixed in. If anyone can find or make a good tactical video, I think you would nail all levels of entertainment, detail, grit, realistic and tactics. This was a great video.

It was rare that triarii were engaged in battle because they were the last reserve used only in the direst of occasions. Maybe they were used in 20% of republican battles or even less. _Res at triarios venit_ en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triarii

Apollo, what are the siege rules? Probably more relevant to a city siege, but always wondered if it was possible to concentrate the attack on one side and hide a siege tower the opposite side of the city at the back of the map, with a couple of your best units. Could you slowly sneak them in to the city unnoticed?
