had this procedure done yesterday. It wasn't bad at all. Feel much better today.

Had this done twice and it's not quite as bad as it looks. It's more painful later on when the numbing meds wears offs. Ice packs for over 3 days helped.

I recently had this procedure done in January of 2016. I suffer from lumbar disc herniation with radiculopathy (sciatica) and spinal stenosis. In my case, I had immediate relief. I was able to move about and was able to go on a 10 minute walk around my neighborhood. My pain level went from 8 to a 3 on a 1 to 10 scale. Now, after 5 months, my pain is slowly starting to come back. I have scheduled another set of injections.

so the injections are just a temporary relief and doesnt heal a herniated disc.. is that correct or am i wrong

Very good Video. Loved the format and very clear presentation. The information is quite clear and done so most any person can understand. Thank you! In response to the postings before mine the procedure is used to allow the nerves to become less inflamed. The Pain meds that is used are very powerful so you may have relief from them but that is when it is very to follow the Dr. instructions, so the Inflammation and swelling have time to get better instead of just completing the cycle again with the inflammation and then the pain. Quite often with the injections and following the proper stretching exercises it is quite help full to allot of people with all kinds of Back pain.
