I had 2 children, both are passed away. My son was still born at full term in 1986. My daughter Erica, was born healthy in 1987. In 2005, when she was 18, she and her boyfriend Danny were both killed in a crash in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. The crash was a result of road rage, and involved 2 other vehicles. Danny burned to death, and the only human remains of his body were a small piece of skull and a piece of sternum (breastbone). Erica was thrown 26 feet and succumbed to multiple internal injuries. Erica was cremated and her father and I split her ashes. We never technically had her buried. After watching this channel, I may decide to get her a headstone, unsure of where to have it placed.

I hope when I die someone like you pays the utt most respect to my lonely grave. Not even that you visit the graves, you take the time to learn something about every person you visit. I live alone I never thought of doing something like this don't know if I could. I will say this is definitely a way to give back and remind people not to forget on so many different levels. People die young & old and every death is different. The message I see you giving is " people don't take shit for granted this could be anyone of us laying in the grave" thats why I love the fact you share a story

My dad passed away in December and since his burial my mom and I visit his grave several times a week to put fresh flowers and water his grass. Many families at the cemetery do this. It’s a weekly ritual to come on Thursdays to put fresh flowers, tend the grass, clean the headstones, etc. After some weeks and a month or two, we noticed that two nearby graves near my dad’s never have had flowers or have their grass watered. We started putting flowers on their graves and watering their grass as well. We don’t know if people will remember us when we’re gone, but while we are still alive we can remember those who have gone before us.

To lose a child is one of the worst, to lose 3, is 3 times worse. I hope the mother finds peace with Gods help. Dear God, I hope they find out who is in the unknown grave, and the murderer. My parent-in-laws are both gone and when we go to take care of their graves we take care of a few others that never seem to get any attention. I applaud you doing that. I enjoy your videos. Although it is sad because of the loss of another human I do like to hear about the background, especially the one of the little girl's dollhouse that her father made and buried her in.

The bird feeder talk got me 😭 The broken headstone also got me. My husband, very, very unfortunately departed this Earth for Heaven 18 months ago, after a 7 year fight with metastatic cancer.. caused by a inherited genetic disease.. leaving me and our 18 month old daughter he wished for his whole life. I have not been able to afford a grave marker yet.. and I am tormented every single day that my husband.. one of a kind amazing husband.. is laying up there in that cold ground without a marker to make his presence known. I have been putting lights and flowers until I have enough money for the marker.. with a nice large flickering light in the middle and smaller ones on either side... Someone has NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE, BUT THREE TIMES STOLEN THE LARGE LIGHTS IN THE MIDDLE IN THE LAST 18 MONTHS. You have to be a low life sack of shit to steal something from someone's resting place. My husband, David, had a love of going to his family members graves and cleaning them, cleaning around them.. and I mean cleaning.. he scrubbed my great grandmother's bronze grave marker for 3 hours one day with some stuff he went and got just to clean it... he lost his mother at 21 to ovarian cancer & his baby sister died in his arms from an enlarged heart the month she turned a year old when he was 13.. perhaps that helped him feel close to them.. but we literally took 'dates' to the cemeteries our families were in.. and it literally eats me alive I haven't had the money yet to get our marker. I also came to find out after he was buried we can't have a standing headstone... it must be a flat marker so I'm kindly heartbroken about that... but what can ya do. Thank you for being respectful and doing things such as filling the bird feeders... blessings to everyone who ends up reading this.

Your work is valued and your narrations and words are wonderful. Thank you. While watching your videos, I often recall the phrase, "The good die young". My father died when I was 16. Seeing him being put into the ground was the most difficult moment of my life. I also lost too many young peers during my own youth, to illness, accident and mis-adventure. I've gone on to take care of patients in Oncology and Palliative Medicine. The fleeting nature and consequences of life's decisions, choices and actions cannot be underestimated. Understand very clearly that your life is not just a singular event.

At the cemetery where my dad is buried, there was recently a new burial near my dad’s grave. We eventually met the mother of the deceased and said it was her 11 year-old daughter who died in her sleep during a nap. Autopsy said it had been a ‘natural death.’ No heart problems or blood clot or aneurysm. Her mom is still inconsolable. 🥺

They can figure out who the Jane Doe is with Forensic Genealogy. They just need her DNA. This is what caught the Golden state killer. This capability is a more recent development. Someone may have to motivate the local PD to get this done.

My mom was killed by a drunk driver in 1979. I was 15 my sister was 13 and my little brother was 8. She had been to another town visiting family and she was a mile from home on the way back. The drunk driver did not have a scratch on him. I know the pain of this avoidable tragedy. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE......please.
