Thanks. Good presentation. You are a good teacher (from a teacher). Social media history began before fax. There is a book called "The Victorian Internet." Its about how telegraph became the first social media. People in the 1860s started romances and got married via telegraph : -)

so this is not how it played out for us. I live in a nursing home and we always run into a brick wall because they don't have a cell phone. We have two residents unable to connect with family.
I receive profiles of “People I may know.” This is a wilful marketing lie as it’s far more likely I won’t know these people due to the sheer size of Facebook.
