Until recently, Face-ID repair of a Dot Projector failure - was not a possibility. A few big players like JC have been working on a solution that enables us to bring Face-ID functionality back to our clients iPhones by using a custom Flex cable that we can re "Burn" with the appropriate SN of the original dot projector (DP). It seems to inject that SN into the software and be the only readable SN to the system so the DP will work again. This is a technical talk and demonstration of how to remove and transfer the dot projector module from the original cable to the new cable.
