Even with the "reunification" (more like invasion) many were not happy of that, even the same Piedmontese weren't happy of those wars. Italians are divided linguistically and still today there is the division between the North and the South. As an integral Catholic I tell you that the Papal State must be independent from the secular authority so that it may operate freely, I condemn the invasion of the Papal State by the Freemasons of the Kingdom of "Italy". Italy should have purged from the armed forces people like Badoglio, Cavagnari and theirs cliques. I'll never stress enough how they have weakened the military. Only the RSI, after 4 years of war Italian forces achieved a good standard but it was too little and too late.

I am an antifascist but I love that Italian period. That's simply false (that happens when you copy paste from wikipedia). Marriage between Italians and Ethiopians was banned in 1937, but it was simply a ban on marriage (only enacted in Ethiopia) for security purposes. It did not call for racial segregation.
