Great format - I love how it shows the different possibilities of all those beautiful fabrics. I found I gravitated more toward Fran’s selections because I like the stronger contrast. My favourite of the day was Fran’s green quilt, and I’m not even a big fan of green! 😅

Donna, love your quilt patterns and your fabric choices are pretty but all of Fran’s choices were my favs. Love this challenge type video! Please try one with “ugly” fabric?

Really liked this different format and I seemed to like Fran’s color choices more. But enjoyed learning how to use different colors and patterns. Do this again, please!

Hi Angie, the funny thing is, that although I taught Fran to sew, she has a natural talent for selecting colors that are awesome together! I learn alot from her! Donna

I cant decided lol. They are all beautiful. Every quilter has a different way to use fabric. All of which are beautiful.

I have a difficult time choosing fabrics. I enjoy all your videos I feel you are teaching me how to pick fabric groups. Thanks

Loved it!! This time I thought Frans were the winners!!

Please do more of these challenges; because it opens our eyes to more fabric combination choices. Sometimes it is the pattern choice that makes the difference ; other times the placement of the focus fabric regardless of the pattern. The more variations we see the more we learn.

I like Donba’s better just because I think hers featured the dots which I loved better. I would love to see more of these types of podcasts ❤

1-Both (The Batik fabric made both quilts pop) 2- Fran (Loved the green) 3-Fran (Loved loved the swirls in the purple and blue; it really made the quilt pop-sorry purple is my favorite) 4-Fran (liked the white rain drop fabric instead of the cream). I really enjoyed this, I watch( Donna) and get some great ideas. I love how she puts fabric colors together; as well as, the different design patterns. Please do more of these videos-Fabric Challenge. This gives us more ideas and your fun to watch. Also, please do the UGLY fabric challenge. I need ideas! Thank you Tina

Both are lovely. Between these two Quilts I personally like Donna's best.

I liked them all. It would be difficult to choose who won! But I love your challenges, and I hope you do many more of these. Love your site, and all of those who participate. Thank you!

Today is my second time watching this film. Last time I couldn't pick because I liked all of the kits put together. This time, I decided to choose the kit that I would want to sew first from each round. Here goes, 1.Mom Nature's Symphony; 2. Fran Nature's Touch; 3. Mom Happy Days; 4. Fran Snuggly Puppies. I also, really liked and would make after the above quilts were finished 1. Fran Spring Brilliance, 3. Fran Mod Memories then 4. Donna Winter Walks. I also loved 2. Donna's Santa Fe Sunsets but I would ask for a different light colour than the beige material. As I felt the first time watching, this was fun and you should do more of these types of shows. I have loved cats all my life, every cat and any cat. I grew up being afraid of dogs, because of the actions of one dog. But by the time I was 16, I got a puppy and a kitten for my birthday. They grew up together and were always the best playmates. I love.dogs too, and have had 5 dogs in total: Willie, Bambi, Holly, Woodrow, and now Poppy (she is a standard size black colored Goldendoodle) In heaven, I am going to have to have a big place to have all of my beloved cats and 5 dogs live with me.💖

Yes do this more often. I need 2 twin baby blankets in my daughter’s picks: black, white a d some green. I hate the black and white for babies but that’s what she wants.

Of the last two I liked both patterns. Fran's Nature is just gorgeous.

Again, both of these quilts are nice. This time I prefer Fran's best. Town Square is one of my favorite patterns and green is one of my favorite colors.

I liked all of them! Here are my picks: 1) Nature’s Symphony 2) Natural Touch 3) Both 4) Snuggly Pups Loved the show!

Snuggle puppies is the winner. Love the “rain” fabric but also liked the snow flakes in blue.

I lke the raspberry color so vote for Fran's Gallery design. Also like Fran's Natural touch. I like the hue of the greens. For the other challenges, I can't decide. But always interesting to see different choices.

For the second challenge Fran’s quilt is my favourite.

Ack! Frans choice I liked best I guess! So beautiful.

All the quilts are great, but Natural Touch is especially gorgeous! I might have to get that one. :)

I like Fran’s combination best, but they are both very nice.

I have enjoyed this video so much. It’s always fun watching the two of you interacting. You have such a warm and natural relationship. Each fabric combination was gorgeous. I cannot imagine why any of these fabrics could have been “left behind”. I seriously cannot pick a favorite because each combination was so unique.

I liked all of the quilts. I really loved Fran’s best because of the pattern selections she made. I also enjoy making quilts using your patterns.

Challenge #2 is Fran again because I like a higher contrast. There's nothing wrong with Donna's preference towards more of an ombre look. Donna's color blend in together more. (So far)

I never get tired of watching your videos. Just love how you match all of your fabrics. I am a cat person, cats always make sure they leave their fur all over your fabric. I also love wild animals, so nature prints are always nice.

Loved Donna’s on the first quilt. On the second one I preferred Fran’s color choice but both patterns. I liked Fran’s fabric and pattern best on the last one. They were all great though!

I liked Frans porch rails combo but I am partial to the porch rails pattern anyway! Please do more of this type of video!

Please do this more often, it is so much fun! Now for the voting. I couldn't decide on the first one, I love both! I have to say, my taste is very similar to Fran's. While I like both quilts, if I had to choose 1, I would have to go with Fran for 2, 3 and 4. Sorry Donna!

First quilt- I like Donna’s better #2-i like Fran’s best( not quite enough contrast with Donna’s) #3- I believe I like both equally!!! #4- I like both equally again🤪 I like when you do this!!

Loved them all, but Santa Fe and Natural Touch were special. Santa Fe made me think of Tucson Az. sunsets as soon as I saw the fabrics together. Lovely.

It was fun! I really enjoyed the sample fabrics in quilt blocks. Mom won I liked three of hers and two of yours. They are all wonderful and it wasn’t easy to choose! I would enjoy another show like this one every once I awhile. Thanks.

I loved Donna's first quilt along with the pattern. I also have the same fabric, but haven't used it yet. On the second, third and fourth ones I liked Fran's pick. The second one I loved the green's in the fabric. The third one I liked the purple and blue fabrics. Same with the fourth one. I also loved how you show how they are stitched together, and how they would look when sewn together. Please do more often, because I like to see what fabric's compliment each other. Maybe a batik challenge, along with an ugly fabric challenge. I am also a cat lady with 3 cats, and a feral one that has lived in my back yard for 2 years.

I love Frans top! What a beautiful ombre. My favorite was the first quilt.
