I remember very clearly when the Air Max 1 was released. I saw it first in a magazine. Found them in a down low track store near where I grew up( East Orange, NJ). When I first wore them, I couldn’t believe the attention I received. People would literally run up on me on the street and ask me where I copped. Good times. I’ll never forget when they were wider released. I was in a foot locker and this lady picked up a pair and said “Nike Air, $75!? I thought air was free!”
I ran into Fab one day at footlocker on Broadway I was looking at sneakers and I felt someone standing behind me looking at sneakers so I figured I'd slide over so the person behind me could get a better look and it was fabolous. I asked for a pic and his security asked me to let him finish shopping first but fab said it was cool and dapped me up and he was wearing yeezy 750 at the time I'll never forget he's one kool dude
