I'm "in love" with the F430 also. Every time I start thinking of acquiring the lovely 458 Italia - I take the S-Line equipped F430 out for a drive only to be reminded of how fabulous it sounds in comparison with the other. They both are incredible!

I absolutely thoroughly enjoyed this well edited video. I have a 2007 F430 coupe in Grigio Titanio with the S-Line exhaust and it sounds very F1 like as it turns all heads (including those of other Ferrarista). I'm also disappointed in the fact that one of the muffler tips is not functional and was really taken back by this discovery after the other tip turns golden! The owner of the company never revealed this fact or I may have reconsidered purchasing. Polishing the tip doesn't seem to make it any better. Other than that the system is amazing in quality and tone.

I actually already replaced them with OEM challenge headers and test pipes. I filmed it but haven't had a chance to edit it

needs equal length 8-`1 headers with proper merge collector for the highest pitch possible

What are the decibels in the cabin when just cruising at 70mph?

Correct, in this video I have stock headers in stock cats. In the header video I have clips stock headers versus challenge headers and I think test pipes versus stock cats as well? I can't remember lol

Ss. If I could swing it, I would have gone inconel. Right after I bought mine, now they offer both spend with inconel heat shielding which would be awesome. Having said that, I run my valves open 80% of the time and my muffler is warm to the touch... Like 150 degrees. If you opt to run it through the muffler, I'm sure the shielding would be worth it.

OEM, kinda a rare factory option

Sounds great but honestly I like the original sound a million times better, it feels way more powerful to Me. Yes the Kline sounds way more high pitched giving the illusion of going 2/3000 RPM higher, but then the car isn't as fast, so it looks sooooo artificial. Its like putting this same sound on a VW golf...it just doesn't look right. Getting rid of the cats is a must either way.

What headers do you recommend for a high pitched sound?

There's a lot of debate on the forums on this. The 355 guys, are almost 100% in agreement the 4-2-1 header style has the highest pitch sound. 430 and 360 guys seem to be torn, but I think all the factors need to be taken into context. The muffler and Cat seem to have the biggest effect on that sound imo I listen to several dozen clips of each system, and it really came down to the S line and the kline for the 430. As for headers, I opted to stick to the 4-2-1 design and purchase the OEM challenge headers, you can't beat the price either. I've since installed these and I'm very pleased, still editing a video. There are a lot of options, many good. I'm not a fan of fabspeed, I like larini the best, closely followed by tubi and capristo. If budget is a factor... This is debated, but the newest OEM 355 manifolds are an option. There was a few discussions on Ferrari chat, and no one could find any failures on the newer ones. I don't mean the newest cars(like 98-99), I'm talking about people that had their headers replaced from like 2005 to 2015 etc with factory manifolds never seemed to fail again. So the theory is somewhere along the line ferrari figured it out. And you maybe it'll pick up a used set from somebody else that upgraded for like 500 bucks

I actually address that at the end. Don't get me wrong, the s-line sounds great... Mainly because it's the exact same design as the Kline. The difference is the Kline comes with an option to route through a muffler if I choose to close the valves. The other huge fault with the s-line is the fake exhaust tips... I just couldn't accept that. I know Run test pipes and it sounds amazing, but I l would say it's a requirement to have the option too route it through the muffler when needed,. With test pipes it sounds very similar to my 355

Honestly since you asked, IMO the stock exhaust is richer sounding and sufficiently exotic Ferrari wise! The weight saving is a plus but unless u are tracking/racing the car it's pointless. But hey it's your car, personally I would not bother unless it was a sublime sounding 355f1 spider, bellissima !
