I don't know in Taiwan but here in my country (during the time of airing), we started college at around 16-17 years old :) Some were 15 (if they started school early).

You mean, Ching He? You just saw him in this episode lol He's Shan Cai's junior high school's friend and has a crush on her, and has been by her side most of the time because the rest of the time, Shan Cai's more with Dao Ming Si, Lei, and the F4.
