David, awesome comparison! I have an F8, but I aspire to pick a nice F355 like yours, just haven't found the right one.

Both wonderful. I still prefer the F355. An early manual is one of the greatest Ferrari's ever made.

Great footage, nice cars. Though the gentleman seems to be hard of hearing.

You need to adjust the prices for inflation..

Still don't like black wheels on F355. It looks terrible!!! Paint those wheels in glossy hyper gray. It would look a lot better. Sometime, following a current trend is not wise... like picking a shag carpet that was popular back in the 70s. LOL Like the new taillights on F355. If I had to pick one, it'd be F355 always. On F8, they should have painted it black in the rear where the taillights are inside a circle. It would have looked a lot better. Too much yellow in the rear, in my opinion.

The shield on the front wings was not an option for the F355 ... They are all after market. (F355 B owner here)

Front wings? I’m not sure what you are referring to but the F355 had an option for shield on the fenders. Some cars have a shield (indented onto the fender which the shield sits into) or they don’t have an indent and the shield is just stuck right onto the fender. Does yours have an indent in the fender?

@@StudioMotors I call it front wing but it is what you call front fender. And no this was not a factory option, this came later, 360 or 430. All 355 with the shield on the front fender have after markets add-ons... And there are many that do.

@@StudioMotors mine doesn't have the shield ... But I have seen many that do. Also not sure if the indent came straight away with first generation of shields on the fender.

Thank you for clarifying but this is wrong. If you do not have a shield on your fenders, then it came that way. If you have a shield but there is no indent, it was added after the fact. If you have a fender with an indent and shield, it’s most likely from the factory this way or someone purchased OEM fenders with indents and added shield. Ferrari offered this as an option. Does your vehicle have indents or no?

I can prove this as I have them on my original window sticker. They are an option called “Scuderia Ferrari” Shields. Do you want me to upload a pic for you?

You didn't compare sounds which was odd. Even if we know the 355 wins.

There’s no comparison 😂 The F8 is one of the quietest Ferraris ever made. Although it runs the 488 pista engine (F154C/D), it’s even quieter than a 488 due to European noise pollution guidelines. The F8 sounds like a mild hybrid compared to the 355. Im also running a Capristo exhaust with 200 cell cats on the 355 so the comparison would just be brutal.
