We use to do this in the 80 s and our goal was to pull the bumpers off,if you got the rear one then hook to the front that was fun! Better than just a pull we slacked the line and punched it ,fun stuff

Nylon strap with no metal at the end. Unless the entire hitch ripped off (which is a possibility) the worst thing that could happen is someone would get slapped in the face. Might leave a red mark.

dually wheels divide the weight so less weight on each contact patch so less traction not more...it has to be compensated for by more weight in the bed that's why the cummins won #2

Weight in the bed plays a major factor. As far as traction, the Dodge would have more traction because it has wide base tires and has a bigger footprint to the ground. There is space between the duals. I am a Ford man to the bone. If you don't believe me about the tires, put them in a wet field in two wheel drive, and see which one gets stuck first. The dually will. The Dodge tires are like flotation tires. They will not sink as fast. Look at pull number two again. Even though there were only 4 people in the bed, the Ford bed was empty. Big difference.

Everyone is talking about the dually. Dodge should have showed up with something worthy then.

1) The Dodge is a crew can short bed it looks like. 2) The Ford is a King cab with a slightly longer bed already making it weigh more thus giving it more traction. 3) once again, though the dodge has wide tires four tires vs two makes a difference. 4) with the Ford being lower, less chance for shocks to play a role vs the dodge where the lift can hurt you in the long run

4) take your belt in your hands straight in front of you. Put one hand lower and one hand higher, now pull apart, what happens? The higher hand is pulled down and the lower hand is lifted up. This showing in this case the lower truck is at the disadvantage as its pulling the taller truck into the ground while itself is being lifted up from the from the ground.

@@stang393 King Cab, or maybe its super crew these days, either way, the cab on the Ford looks to be longer than that of the Dodge which adds additional weight to the ford as does the presence of 2 more cylinders in the V8 turbo diesel over the inline 6 of the Dodge.

Actually a dually has less traction when there’s no weight on the wheels because a srw truck is more planted down on two wheels compared to a dually having the same weight pretty much distributed to four wheels meaning the wheels are not as planted down

ted s actually no, it’s about weight distribution. The whole PURPOSE of a dually is heavier loads and the dually allows a better weight distribution. When there is no weight in the back, the traction is less per square inch. So, it was the Dodge’s advantage it faced a dually. If that was a normal F350, it would have smoked the dodge even more so. Learn your shit, boy.

The second time was operator error, I tried 4lo and spun and that was it.

Put 2 more tires Cummins. But it's closer giving the extra tires to the challenger

Around these parts if the brake lights come on it is instant disqualification. Straight pull. No brakes to try to keep from spinning, or to hold the other guy until he breaks traction then pull him. That is how the cheats do it. Of course we also don't add half the crowd to our trucks either. Lol.

i think your wrong dually has 4 back tires spinning and front ones as well as well to get it to go fprward has more traction to pull its obvious. what the four back tire would do will be digging for tratcion to pull to move forwad you think the dodge with two rear tires moving forward would be having more traction hell no. plus that mean dodge tires would spin faster since theres no wieght and causes to lose traction fast after spinning so quick this giving advantage to a six wheel that wont accelerate fast but move and get traction as its pulling so therefore the powerstroke one with the dually. idk why people see it differently like the 4 wheels will have more traction thats not true if its light wieght and moves fast then itll loose traction the duall is heavy and rear end is heavier havin more traction to on the ground duh

So what makes the difference in f350 vs 2500? Springs, axle capacity, maybe gears but thats subjective? I can't believe the people that think the badge number make the engine or transmission somehow bigger or badder. My F350 srw 6.7L is an overload spring different than the F250 the dually version is one mainleaf and a bigger axle/ dual wheels different than mine maybe 200lbs different and the engine and trans are the same as what is used all the way up to an f650 or f750 medium duty truck

that does not change the engine!duel wheels spread the weight of the truck and its load out but it does not make duel wheels better at pulling/tug of war. matter of fact maybe duel wheels spread the weight out a little two much if its a tug of war?and lets be real here the tires on that dodge are not "stock" nor is the smoke stack. myself?the big 3 trucks are all so close to each other in one way or another i think it comes down to the driver and traction more so then brand.

I'm going to explain to you as simple f****** thing called physics that Ford is a 1-ton crew cab dually 4 by 4 that is almost a 10000 pound truck up against a f****** regular 3/4 ton Dodge Ram probably weighs 8000 pounds which has a whole hell of a lot of difference

the ford is 8k tops with no weight on it and the dodge is around 6800. The only diff between a 3/4 and 1 ton truck is the rear suspension. The dodge doesnt have stock tires so the difference between dually and SRW in this case isnt a HUGE difference. The ford has more HP and torque. If the the Ford is a newer model than the Dodge it probably has a bigger edge in hp and torque. Now all that being said...it really means nothing. Just a good watch for sure!!

If you read some of the comments you would have seen just prior to this the dodge pulled a few other trucks and won 3 duallys and 1 single rear wheel I was the 5th truck to finally win

The ppl standing around and on the back of the truck are fools. When that strap breaks... somebody is gonna get fucked up!
