Sounds shockingly refined for a muffler delete, what’s rest of setup all stock?

Do you know what size piping you used to replace the muffler? Was it 2.5”?

Delete that front square resonator, no drone and the best setup of this exhaust I heard. 340i’s or B58’s in general have 2 resonators. That square one is keeping everything from sounding amazing.

@@ProcTech just posted my quick video... just cold starts. I will be making a video with some flybys and whatnot later this week when it gets warmer out. Mine sounds pretty similar to other people. It's actually really mellow. I expected it to be a little more harsh and obnoxious. I don't get the crazy gunshots that people are putting in their videos. I can get some loud bangs, but it doesn't sound bad. Comfort mode is honestly about the same as before... maybe slightly more like stock sport mode.

The drive bys aren’t the same at all. You should have done it during the day both times!

What sounds better muffler delete or both resonators delete? I’m assuming muffler delete is easier to do? You left your resonators in and just did mufflers right? And inversely when people delete resonators do they leave muffler on? Confused a bit Thx

I think muffler delete sounds better because you don’t have that raspy sound that you get with deleting the resonators . My current setup is a catless downpipe, both OEM resonators installed and a muffler delete and I think it’s perfect sounding with only alittle drone at 1400ish RPMs

Fully agree. I have the M performance valved exhaust so i’m thinking have it go through one axleback muffler on single/comfort mode, then the other side will be muffler delete. If you want something big and raspy why not just go with a big block V8.

How is the drone?

If you have a MPPSK exhaust from bmw and get a muffler delete, would you lose the exhaust control valve? To make it more quiet in comfort mode?

What? Why would you do that to MPPSK? In Sport mode, it bypasses the muffler and makes it a straight pipe.

Who did your muffler delete?

No check eng light, that only occurs when you mess with your cat which you can turn off with a tune
