So basically with 5 shop refreshes + daily defense and anti air ticket you spend 135 quartz a day, thats 945 per week and about 4k per month. Exactly the amount you get from the game as quartz income per month xD So there is no room for building quartz for black tickets, unless you stop spending daily quartz on shop refreshes and tickets.

yeah refreshing the shop 5 times daily really helps in the account's progression. not only people can get blue contracts there but also ship parts and many of the workshop crafting materials as well. But unlike SEA, I have a feeling that Global players might have to reduce the amount of their daily shop refreshes due to the fast pace of content releases there

Good video, hope people understand how important the pack is. But I think with globals different schedule the problem will not be buying the pack weekly, it will be that buying the pack weekly wont be nearly enough to get even half the awakened chars. Id expect them to give more quartz here compared to SEA due to the schedule, but it doesnt seem like they added more ways to get classified recruitments. That could be an issue later on.

yeah, Maybe they'll keep the free pulls for future awakened banners to compensate, at least until we catch up to SEA. Otherwise the gap between whales and f2p is going to be so big that it'll hurt the game long term.

If we’re going to get a new event every 2 weeks, should also include quartz we get from that too. Also, we get a free pull on awakened banner every day, but I’m not sure if this will continue after a.hilde banner.

Since a defense loss doesn't lower your rank in Strategy Battles, I made my defense team with only low level or low rarity employees so others can climb ranks easier. To those who helped me climb to Plat3 by doing that same thing, you the real MVP.

Good vid by GR as usual. I do have to respectfully refute the claim that “you will run out of quartz” though. I’m a filthy casual f2pbtw sitting on 44k quartz after a year in SEA. And that’s getting my classified package every week. I recommend skipping shop refresh and gold binaries. By skipping these 2, you would save 39k quartz a year. And as GR has demonstrated, after 1 year, you will be overflowing w most of the resource you want from shop refresh. Gold binaries are too rng n I think most of the time, the 1k quartz would be down the drain. (Well, Maybe that’s why after 1 yr, I only have 1 x 72% CDR set). Just want to encourage f2p-ers that the game is generous for one to do sufficiently well if you budget yr expenditures (ie build or pull only useful ships or units)

Thanks for the calculations! But there are a few corrections: 1) As Aryan Sharma pointed out, 60 daily quartz = 420 quartz per week 2) Even if you reach Platinum, you can still fall to gold. (But you cannot fall below gold) 3) Do we get 600 quartz from the free Counter Pass every month? If so, I believe that it should be added to the regular f2p income.

Dive reset is not monthly btw, it's 90 days. It's just that global want to make the reset happen at the same time as other servers so we only have 30 days after official release.

You actually get 965 quartz a week. 420 a week from dailies. With the math, that's 3,860 quartz a month. Enough to get a classified contract and set binary pack. You would have to not do shop refresh though.

Even as f2p you can earn enough to buy classified tickets, just don't use quartz on normal pulls. But Counter Pass will give you lots of resources, it's a right thing to spend as a light spender.

Did people really not watch the full video? Even with GR miscalculation, the whole point of this video is GR telling F2P players to manage their Quartz resources wisely, since in the long run you are only getting 965 Quartz WEEKLY which is not even half of what the weekly classified recruitment costs. Meaning as a F2P eventually you won't have enough black tickets to pull every single OP future awakened unit unless you have god luck or you spend money. Sure you can add in the free Counter Pass that gives an extra 600 Quartz and the dive rewards gives some Quartz as well, but Counter Pass is a MONTHLY thing and the future dives reset will be 3 months long similar to other servers. Yes the game is generous if you know how to manage your resources wisely, but that's only because global just launched not long ago so the devs are giving tons of rewards for now like they stated in the server launch video. When Global with it's accelerated pacing catches up with other servers, the game will slow down a lot and you won't be getting the same amount of rewards you are getting on launch just like what SEA server is experiencing now. At the end of the day, CounterSide is a gacha game and the devs need to make money as well.

Okay so a question for if you are a low spender: The monthly admin coin bundle gives you 70 admin coins per day which is 490 per week. There's a weekly 2x quartz petite package which you can buy 3 times, costs 150 admin coins and gives you 300 quartz (so 900 Quartz a week for 450 admin coins). If you don't spend your admin coins for anything else, that would be a good deal, right? And regarding that: What is actually worth it to spend admin coins on (except skins because that's cosmetic stuff. I mean in terms of value)?

Does this game require you to "download the latest patch in the appstore" when there's an update?

Guitarrock. Im a little scared on this game later on will it really be that heavily reliant on awakened units and will players be punished hard for not having awakened units? The game is really fun so far and its worrysome to think that lateron pvp will devolve into paper scissors rock of who has the better awakened unit. From your experience can you tell what its like in sea server later on with pvp?

If you just want to get to platinum, you will do fine with even just one awakened unit. It has to be a broken one though (A. Seo Yoon, A. Lee Soo Yeon, etc.) The issue comes with trying to compete with whales on higher elo where they have full teams of well geared SSR and ASSR units. In PVE, you don't need every awakened unit at all. They make life easier though. Look at high tier non-awakened units, there's a lot of them.

Unless u spend ur gems on pulls even doing refresh everyday you'll still have enough gems to buy weekly black ticket. Ive been playing for almost a year now and there wasn't a single week that I didn't have enough gems infact you'll have more than enough. Just don't use them on pulls. Why would this guy said you'll run out of gems? Shouldn't he the first u know that? Since he also play on SEA. Its a misinformation.

Currency is called Quartz, calls them diamonds in the first 30 seconds

Guitarrock also didnt include the quartz income from dives / battle pass either while those are also steady income sources. And with the introduction of danger close and guild co-op you can get 2k gems per week even when thare are no events at all.

lots of one time quartz for 3star any mission events campaign side story etc but in theory no way to keep up with the must have spending in shop with no new events. Just dont overspend on cosmetics you got enough considering the missing content not yet in global. You just wont be able to pull for every awakened banner you need to choose which one you want.
