f250 Power Inverter Install
Installing a 2000 watt power inverter in a 2023 f 250 XLT using #2 cooper wire and 250 amp breaker.
I have installed many inverters from 400 watt, 800 watt, 1500 watt and several 2000 watt inverters.
This install is in the back bed of the f250 where it can be reached with the tail gate down. It's far enough back inside of the shell to keep it dry. Works great. All the exposed lugs will have flelx duct wrapped around them. Will be adding more wire support along the frame.

Where do you hook the Anderson connector to? Is it just split off of the input wires?

I have a 12,000 pound winch that can go either in the front or back receiver hitch. I use a set of jumper cables to power it from my truck. The jumper cables have a anderson connection between the two sets of jumper clamps. This allows me a 20 foot jumper cable with anderson plug or a 5' jumper cable with a anderson plug. Works great! I have yet to put the winch to use.... on the new truck. Not stuck yet! I can always hope! HA!

These cables will be paid for many times over by extra battery costs and replacements.
