The F-22 design is a thing of beauty. I live close to Lockheed Martin and occassionally see them being tested. A beauty!

The J-20 is more of an evolution of the Mig-1.44 than a copy of the F-22.

The F-22 has a proven track record with exceptional manoeuvrability and stealth. The J-20 is newer, emphasising stealth and long range. In a face-off, pilot skill, tactics, and support systems would matter. The "better" jet depends on the mission and context.

"Dual wing"? 🤦♂️ It's Delta Wing. The longer length in J20s fuselage also confers longer range and it doesn't even look anything remotely close to the F22, unlike other fifth gen. designs e.g. F35; KF21 Boramae; TAI FX; AMCA. WS-15s have higher thrust to weight and power generation than F22's F119 engines 🤷♂️

Thank you for your comment, it is an interesting observation. Regarding the "Dual Wing", that's my fault, I meant to write "Delta" and some how ended up writing "Dual". One day when I am able to afford it I will have someone proof read my scripts :-)

Few things if any can compare to the design of the F22. It often makes you think of the Super Hornet. The same kind of versatility with the latest that the world of technology can offer. It is most certainly the best air superiority fighter jet in the world

Great video. The F22 would wipe the floor with the J20 in a one to one combat situation. Although there are more J20s, so possibly the Chinese would overwhelm the f22s. This is assuming they are tasked with engaging each other in a traditional dog fight. Most likely it will be who can get their missiles off first. See first, shot first.
