Whirlpool M# WFW8410SW01. Washer won’t pump out. Error code F21. Washer full of water. We took the front cover off at the bottom. Removed the “coin trap” pump inlet screen and the water drained out onto our basement floor.

Be aware that we are doing this in a basement with adequate floor drains and cement floors.
The trap was clean.
I took a garden hose and blew water back up the coin trap drain connection to make sure it was clear.
We reassembled it and tried it.
Same problem. Water wouldn’t drain.
I couldn’t hear the pump even try to pump.
With the power off and coin trap out I tried spinning the impeller and it spun freely.
Decide to order a new pump.
We got it off of EBay partsdiscount.com as it was quicker delivery than Amazon.
