    If you choose to replace the motor leaving the brackets in place, these are the sizes you’ll need: Allen = 6mm, bolt heads = 13mm, wedge bolt = 10mm.

    Great video. I need to do this job on my ‘16. Can the running boards be deployed manually? Mine are stuck in the up position. Thanks for taking the time to make this tidbit.

    @@boudreausauto1881 I inspected the motor housings on both and they look swollen with rust. I might have to remove the whole assembly at the same time and work on it that way. The way the torque rod is clocked, makes the 30 mm torx screws a PIA to remove and with Illinois rust? 😬

    Good job. I think Ford deserves extra hate for making those boards without proper grease zerk and not making motors better protected from elements. Seems like all ford engineers are living in GA or AZ and never saw rust belt...
