@@kavguy Basically the circuit was under direct ownership of Toyota themselves. Because of this, they decided to go full dictatorship on fans and do things like overcharge tickets to the venue. The most prime example and worst part to all this? You were ONLY allowed to use Toyota flags or fan gear. If you were caught using another teams flag or anything else such as banners in support for said team and not Toyota, then they would either ask you to take it down, put it away, or gtfo despite spending hundreds on a ticket.

Yes but Schumi’s was worse because: 1. Michael left a car’s width then began moving over, after his rival already committed. Here there wasn’t a car’s width between the driver being overtaken and the white line. 2. There was a wall in Hungary and there isn’t here. That’s the only reason Massa could even go for the move because there wasn’t any room left for him there.

there was no cheating in this race Alonso won this race fair and square the R28 was mega that day backed up by Piquet finishing 4th from 12th on the grid

Great video! I miss the days of a top driver in a top car falling down the field (or starting from the back) and not having DRS just to breeze by the slower cars like they don't exist.

I would trade it with Sepang . Suzuka is equal to spa for so many , especially the drivers , so no touching .

Kubica at that time sure showed what he was capable of. It's a shame he couldn't get a better car with Williams, he was a very good pilot until that terrible accident in Canada and even after that he still was pretty good but not the same anymore.

Kubica was never a top 5 f1 driver, always a crasher

At that time with no drs and car almost equal the performances of the driver counted more. It was harder to lap the field or come back from 20th place even with the best cars ( ferrari and mclaren). This is the F1 we want for 2021

Fuji is an amazing race track except for that silly left hander at 0:54. Just go straight instead.

Why not have two races in Japan? Can't leave Suzuka out, but there may be no better track in the world for switchback overtaking than Fuji...

It was pretty ballsy from Massa. Webber seemed like he had the inside line covered fairly but Massa still decided to force his way through and use the pit exit. Both drivers were on the absolute edge there. Could have been a huge accident.

Ham got the drive-through for the divebomb on Raikkonen at the start. Massa got a drive-through for rejoining the track unsafely and punting Lewis into a spin.

Lewis truth be told though, extremely fast, extremely composed but lacked the wheel to wheel racing completely at times. Vettel to be honest was very similar to Lewis's driving traits.

Suzuka is absolute boredom of a circuit. The overtaking options are extremely limited or null. Fuji motor speedway is 100× better circuit than suzuka. FIA is so dumb and useless.
