Bro are you kidding? This film is made for people who are not f1 fans. They make this kind of dialogs about car characteristics to make it easier to understand for non-f1 audience . Yes, it might be weird for us, f1 fans, but their target audience not only f1 community

@@DevilWolf000 True for 2024, but the dialogue can also refer to 2023 spec cars, when McLaren was on the rise since Austria, and the other 4 did have strong straight line speed, since the start of 2023 season.

Rush might be the most rewatchable movie of all time, and I'm not being hyperbolic. I've curated Rush for my brother, two girlfriends, and two other friends. It's that good. Everyone I've shown it to loves it.

I'm fine with a cliche plot and whatnot but the "who said anything about safe" line makes me cringe my eyes out lmaoooo. You WILL be forced to make your car absolutely safe that's not something you can compromise on. Worst case scenario you get something like the bottoming at the beginning of 2023 but even that was regulated fast enough.

Had a huge crush on kerry condon since her role in rome

Not an F1 fan or a racing fan in general, but I loved Rush and Ford v Ferrari - and I hope this one takes the best from both.

Props to Lewis Hamilton as EP, he made sure the thing looks real and it's thanks to him that they had as much access as they did.

I can't even lie this looks awesome!

Exactly what Liberty Media ordered. A 60-yr old FI driver? So believable and true to the sport. and btw, battling in the turns? Like ground effects of the 70s. Gosh smh. The Eau Rouge clip was the best part.

The CGI is so apparent. There is absolutely no tension when watching something that is clearly CGI.

If this movie was about realism not action, it would be a 2-hour movie about tire management and getting the best place in qualifying. Cos action (ok, better than some time ago) is something f1 is missing. Overtakes usually happen cos of better tires and DRS, cos even with DRS overtaking on the same tire with roughly the same rounds on it, and cars being similar in pace, you don't overtake without forcing the driver ahead into a mistake, which is hard and does not happen often. So you have 2 options to overtake via pit stop (under/overcut) or via better tire strategy so you are in DRS range with a much newer tire. Oh, and I forgot it would be two hours of drivers complaining about being blocked, break checked or forced off track via radio
