F1 drivers are really on another level. They drive in horribly cramped cockpits, with reduced vision, and all the G-forces. Not to mention the incredibly swift reflexes. And people think tennis is one of the physically toughest sports...

@Charlie Robertson He did win the GP2 championship though.. I believe he won 6 races in a row in that season including Spa. But the average racing driver wouldn't say Maldonado is useless if the were really honest. That job is for you and me like I said. People that wouldn't even get an F1 car moving..

Max Greiner every driver is provided with almost 1.5 litres of liquid thats rich in minerals and vitamins. Drivers dehyderate while driving and so this drink is necessary without which they would passout or just stop the car.

Great video and explanation of the complex controls. But that wind noise! Instead of feeling the raw power of insane horsepower I felt like rolling the window up!

They actually do change engine modes. They have different engine power modes to control fuel usage throughout the race. Of course you don't see him use over a single lap
