Perhaps Zandvoort will demonstrate that a new era in circuit design has arrived, and Tilke designs will be no more!! This is such a joy for many fans. Zandvoort, the new Formula 1 frontier!!

Hans Hugenholz, a dutch circuit designer was the father of this layout. He also designed Suzuka btw.. So fairly old school, and far from the Tilke designs (thank God). The Italians did a fantastic job to compliment what was already in place 👍

I like "old styled tracks", there is a sense of driving somewhere and the shape is randomized by the landscape. This track is going to be a living legend.

@@Robin-uu4wx and considering the exit is where the apex of the corner goes out they have loads of space to move in, as well as leaving turn one open for anyone trying to do an overtake there

@@gegwen7440 they couldve ended it before the corner which wouldve severely messed with the flow prior to the remodeling the pit exit was right after the latest pitbox straight coming towards turn 1 now it doesnt clash with people blasting down the main straight

Samuel Orlean It’s a Tilkedrome, it might produce some racing, but the track feels empty, artificial and bland. Zandvoort might be more difficult to overtake on, but it’s track that has a lot history, beautiful surroundings in the dunes and right next to the sea and I can imagine there will be enough fans to fill all grandstands

Bedankt maar weer Jorg, echt top! Blijf ons regelmatig verrassen met nieuwe updates zoals het asfalt naast de baan van het circuit, de afbouw in het paddock, ben niet voor niks op jou geabonneerd!

Must say that that repave job looks absolutely mint! New pit lane exit looks proper, the banked corners look bang tidy If this is the final track that gets put in the new F1 2020 video game, I cannot wait to throw a car around it

Now that its finished and your holiday is over ...... This looks like a good track, very small some odd run offs and rejoins I have seen in other video. Then there is that pit lane exit inside first corner and exit onto a straight of sorts. Waitng to see how that works under race conditions, even the demo seemed to struggle to get onto a race line but there were a lot of cars on track and he was talking with to his four passengers. Certainly the track will be ready and hopefully it will have some rubber worked in.. Not new look, similar to the track F1 left all those years ago. Designs have changed but this looks like a fun track, I have heard many drivers like the roller coaster style and that seems to be a feature of Zandvoort. Still hoping you can drive or drone the track over the race line one more time..... sure looks like the locals are having fun testing the new surface. Thank you Jorg

This has progressed so much in the last week. I'm surprised they built that huge gravel/sand bank on the final turn but just put a wall right next to the track. The pitlane exit is genius.

Onhandig gefilmd helaas. Een circuit wil je zien zoals je het rijd. Vanuit de rijrichting naar voren mooinlaag onder de baan vliegend. Dan heb je een veel beter idee hoe de baan loopt etc. Verder wel mooie heldere beelden.

Voor mijn gevoel ziet het er erg smal uit. Maar zonder auto's is het moeilijk in te schatten. En in vergelijking met andere circuits ziet het er nog erg basic uit. Maar goed. Nog 2 maanden te gaan. Ik ben erg benieuwd!!

...Het is ook smal. :-/ Maar het zal desondanks een mooi weekend worden. :-) Want als de race tegenvalt dan word dit gecompenseerd met een prachtige kwalificatie. De meeste rijders zijn gehyped, gewoon omdat het een heel leuk baantje is om op te racen.

Looks like it will be an epic track to drive/qualify on, but not seeing a lot of opportunity for good racing. Lots of fast flowy bits, not seeing many deep breaking zones, long straights or slow chickens, you know, the usual manmade things current f1 cars need to pass. Hopefully this track will come alive with the 2021 cars!

A new era of Circuits bankings arrive.

It would be even nicer if you could do a continuous 1 shot of the circuit. It would give a better idea of the circuit.

Is it wide enough for overtaking? Still looks narrow despite the changes

Mooie beelden. Hopelijk mag het blijven staan. Andere video's zijn op verzoek van Zandvoort van KZread gehaald.

Looks like for the banked corners they now just need to add the poly styrene, and metal grating for the safer barriers, glad to see they did also put in a catch fence there as well should any of the cars or debris get airborne it's there to stop them/that from going over the barrier. It's going to be interesting to see how the tires hold up, I can't imagine the f1 cars running on anything softer than mediums unless they are making qualifying runs.

@Quintinohthree er zijn twee lijnen mogelijk in de nieuwe bocht. binnenbocht is korter maar buitenbocht kan met meer gas worden genomen, dus wellicht is het dan mogelijk dat twee auto's tegelijk de bocht uitkomen

@@Psioxify En dan ben je met zijn tweeën de bocht uitgekomen en probeer je allebij zo ver mogelijk naar rechts te komen om zo veel mogelijk snelheid mee te nemen, en dan is er een uitloopstrook links van de baan ruim na het eind van de bocht die niet eens soepel aansluit maar helemaal rechthoekig is? Nee, lijkt me alsnog heel sterk.

Het circuit is zo smal dat ik echt denk dat de hele race één lange optocht gaat worden met alleen wat DRS inhaalacties. Hopelijk heb ik het mis :)

La curva a 180° o curva Tarzan, potrei sbagliarmi sul nome.

Een circuit verbouwen kun je wel aan italianen over laten. Banking valt toch wat tegen, maar die nieuwe pit exit is slim bedacht.

Yes, several races planned in March and April, before the F1 GP in May..

Ja, er komen in totaal meer dan 95.000 zitplaatsen, hoofdzakelijk op tijdelijke tribunes.. De rest zijn plekken in de duinen, dan gaan ze dik over de 100.000 toeschouwers in totaal heen..
