Can't they just do the practice program rather than skipping it to prevent excessive component wear? I don't have the game since I live under a rock but watching other youtubers doing that isn't that the safest option?

@@janyogyog76 I do the practice programs live, mostly because I need to familiarize myself with the tracks. And yeah, there is a significant difference. The wear is nowhere near as bad. ... Though then again, I opted for a head-start in reliability during the opening interview.

Track acclimatisation and quali/race sims might not be that bad, but for me, tyre wear, fuel usage, and ERS deployment tests would be a real torture to do it myself.

Is not the pole positions, not the podium placements or even finishing the race. its the struggle, the fight for every single position and the emotions that makes MY TEAM so great. gg

Perhaps the best thing of these videos is how the titles give me a good preview and aren’t clickbaity because they don’t need to be, much love Aarava

💥Is Hamilton's Career Over!?

ive had 5 engine blow outs on my 1st season. started season 2 last night race 1... BANG happens to me again with everything fresh, i do think its abit OP but also the focus is all on Durability

The engine:I'm giving up to this crap Araava:you son of....

Aarava, i think this will help you in my team, go to corporate, from there go to contracts and on the bottom right you see drivers perk, you can upgrade yourself aswell with engine wear, resource points etc. I hope this tip will help you!

It feels like these mechanical failures occur waaaay too often.

Yeah, in my experience, I felt like I got really unlucky with these. I ended up turning the frequency down to low, because I had 3 terminal issues and 2 non-terminal issues in 9 races.

Don’t feel like they are, Aarav just seems to get quite unlucky. I finished my first season with the max settings for random failures and finished with 2 retirements from those, as well as 2 other issues that were fixed mid-race.

The game tells you when you get the failures that focusing on reliability upgrades can help you reduce the failures. This time it was his gearbox and it was not a new component. I have had relatively low failures but I have also invested much more than aarav had into reliability

Hey Araav this is something I recommend doing. I like to do the quick practice programs and I only do the resource point ones so I am guaranteed 1000 resource points per weekend from practice.

While "random player failures" is a heartbreaker at times, it sure is a great feature of this game. Makes things more interesting and realistic.

Loving this. Aarava deserves it. Years of winning championships thru the bad luck of others

I would love to see a wheel cam on some of these videos, not saying that I don’t like videos without wheel cams but I would just like to see a wheel cam

I knew this video was short🤔 This is crazy. Still love the hell out of this series. I can't wait till he gets this car to where it needs to be. Gonna be some epic battles to come

If you feel understeer you can use trl limitless setups they are fantastic especially the baku setup. For singapore i used the baku setup and added 1 front and 1 rear downforce.

u gotta feel for aarav. terrible luck. would wish the engine wear rates and failure frequencies were lowered a touch. practically impossible to keep good consistency and fight for the midfield. i suggest maxing out durability cuz at this point, ur basically firing blanks at ur rivals. keep up the determination doe

Seems the lesson is don’t change to a new engine as they always complete fail as soon as you change - tough break.

In the settings u can set how frequent RnD events are

Honestly quick practice isn't the way to go if you want to reduce the amount of wear you get on the engine and reduce your penalties too

You're going to be replacing a lot of engines first season so get used to it and get a fresh engine when you need it.

You’ve seemed to have Jeff on the radio a lot about engine problems I’ve had no mechanical faults yet which is surprising me.

Can we get a double race feature if there is an early DNF lol You're getting screwed over with mechanical failure dnfs. I've turned mine up and have had two total dnfs from failures in the first season. A few more issues pop up in the race for sure but I've not seen this many engine issues with anyone playing my team
