Yes! That downshift noise is a sign of them running higher power modes. It's so good. Sounds awesome.

The best sound compare to other v6 hybrid

The HONDA engine probably has the most distinctive noise of this V6 era. It has a way more pronounce "GRrrrrrr" compared to the other engines who sound much smoother, particularly on low revs and downshifting. Most people say these V6 sound dull and I think it's because we hear them via our TV/devices, but I'm pretty sure we're gonna remember the HONDA has being the one standing out in terms of noise. I'm no expert and yet I could recognize a HONDA powered car eyes closed because it has a true sound identity. Roar to HONDA for making this engine sound good.

Mercedes still the loudest v6 on this planet

I think this year, the main fight is going to be between Mercedes and Redbull. Ferrari doesn't look fit.

To me they sound a bit cleaner then last year, especially in the low revs
