Because the episode have very poor continuity nod. It's a cheap way of allowing the telespectator of not being completly confused with what's going on. But yes, it is very poorly done.

@@dolan3623 yeah James McCloud. I picked up on that reference in 1998 when I first played F-Zero X. It's an obvious reference to Starfox, whether or not he is intended to be the same character or just a massive reference is up to interpretation. I have stories for both versions of events 😀

And? Doesn't mean you can't lay out heaps of other racers. I find it slightly more challenging but doesn't mean it's not possible. Then again, my entire strategy is basically based around laying out as many vehicles as possible while still racing as best I can. I expect to take out 5-10 opponents per race, some levels are much harder than others for taking others down, but generally if you have good timing and line them up well...then BAM!!!!!!!💥

I certainly have mixed feelings about this show. They really don't know how to do robots and cyborgs.
