That's probably why I'd suck at speedrunning this. I just couldn't allow myself to utterly annihilate the CPU, then give it the satisfaction of coming in first. lol

It couldve skipped a frame or two, this was considered because Dream had to experience this aswell, and people kept attacking him because of a cut that couldve been a GLITCH.

@The Builder Pro We are not talking about dream here, and even then it wasn't because of a cut that he was cheating. That right here was definetly a cut, a game doesen't just skips frames like that, and if it was in the video playback, tyen the timer too should have changed.

back in the day i had the world record on big blue with a time of 2'06"31, i just booted it up again for old times sake and im barley hitting 2:09

Thanks for clearing that up, I haven't played this game for a very long time, got alot of practice on all tracks this game is still fun but I learnt new things thanks to this run and for you giving context for why he keeps on clearing at position 2nd.

I can't seem to find an answer online, but why do Fzero speed runs always end with you coming in second with? Is the second place loading screen that much faster or something?

Streamed this game with my buddy some days ago. Very cool game and very technical as well. Sadly no multiplayer and time attack mode ^^

shockerinho Yeah the lack of multiplayer and the fact that you can only play 7 of the 15 tracks in Time Attack is a bit of a bummer. Still, one of the greatest games ever imo.

+littlesamps The goal of this run is not to set the fastest possible time on each track. By finishing 2nd/3rd, you can quicker skip the rank that follows each track and that saves you a little bit of time in the long-run.

It's such a strange thing to see though, forfeit first place to go faster through the game :D

I think F-Zero cannot compare with Mario Kart (more interesting tracks, more action by items), but I still liked to play it once and a while. I liked the alien in the green car best because he had the best power so I could ram all the others :D

Run my game! I put in a lot of speedrunning tricks. It's also a SciFi racer. Mobile or PC.
