@@captaincomfycactus not every time looking back, but often enough that it wasn't worth it overall 11:24 1:29 doesn't get hit, this is just a good response 2:38 again, not hit, but barely a few pixels off 2:47, he tried to move in high and got dropped for it 4:33 closing the distance again didn't work out. 4:45 5:52 tries the air approach and coma is pretty much wise to it at this point 6:04 showing that comi is getting really wise to it by now 9:10 cost him the game there list goes on, but point made i think. approaching roa in the air is dangerous with that lightning box above him,

@@captaincomfycactus no problem. Didnt realize till halfway through just how much protection those lightning bars gave him from overheads, and the fact that he can just airgrab anyone who thinks of blocking makes it even funnier.

@@JokerStairs that’s risky against good roa players they either bait out the teleport or run up shield and get a nice punish

Ik roa is not his main but that lighting is punishable af also I main/learning roa in type lumina and his dashes is a combo starter his lighting is usually for corner play or so that u can get in there as fast as possible

This Roa player doesn't do any optimal combos or confirms, never goes for a mix after the air grab and still wins with just 214B > 214C in neutral...

I mes they have had strive tournaments and fucking samirai showdown 2 weeks ago so i dont think thats ot. Mbaacc is more niche compared to lumina which is gettig a lot more attention so makes sense

Also melty blood lumina has already overshadowed actress again in terms of player count and sales so it makes sense why a significantly more niche and unpopular game wont get streamed

Plus your forgetting it’s easier to set up lumina then it is for MBAACC, since it’s on ps4

So weird when I'm playing low level matches the shield mechanic does not bug me that much. It kind of ruins some high level interactions though.

You have no way to deal with projectiles characters without shield.

@@r3zaful all of his projectiles can be blocked low. superjump and airdash makes it extremely easy to get in on vlov especially with his lack of good anti-airs.
